GH Spoilers: Victor Aims To Take Esme Out — Will She Survive?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is keen on the idea of eliminating Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) altogether, but he’s also warm to making Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) think he’s the one who came up with that idea. Victor is on a warpath to take down the Cassadine family and anyone who stands in the way of him inheriting all that comes with that name.

His return to Port Charles was never about reuniting his family and making them stronger, but taking them out one by one. Now, baby Ace Cassadine could also stand in the way of Victor getting what he thinks is owed to him. So he’ll need to strategize well to make sure he ends up steering that ship.

Being released from Spring Ridge is the last thing that Esme expected — not that she would have been able to secure a better life for herself if she had any advanced notice. Now, she’s faced with carving out a future for herself and her son without any resources to pull from that feel safe.

Sure, she has the Cassadine family and the nurturing component of Laura Collins (Genie Francis) being tacked onto them, but the thought of becoming reliant upon that family makes Esme feel like she doesn’t stand a chance. Unfortunately for her, she won’t have a choice.

When Victor meets up with his nephew, Spencer, he’s going to make it clear that his role here is to support whatever his nephew wants. He is all about making sure the Cassadine’s stay happy and in control. Moreover, he wants to be the one at the top pulling all of the strings in his family.

What better way to stay on top of that than making sure his naive nephew stays indebted to him? When Victor approaches Spencer, he’ll make sure it’s clear that he’s willing to do whatever it takes to make sure things go Spencer’s way. However, he’s going to lay the burden of making that decision on Spencer. So, what does the young man really want with Esme?

General Hospital spoilers tease Spencer will struggle with figuring out what to do with the kind of power his uncle is indirectly handing over to him. He wants Esme out of the way, but Spencer isn’t as cold-hearted as his uncle is. He can’t bring himself to order someone’s death and walk away like he had nothing to do with it.
