Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is taking his buddy Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) advice and decided if he didn’t succeed at first, he should try again. Curtis may have Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) on his mind as a second try, but nonetheless he’s making a second try to make his current marriage work. Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) is also at the Ashford-Robinson house and listens to Curtis as she looks troubled at what he says.
Curtis tells Stella he’s got two choices-either give up, or give in. The big question is whether he’s talking about Jordan or he’s talking about Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) since he’s moving into the guest room.
Portia shows up and tells Curtis welcome home, and she’s dressed to impress with a bright orange sundress, but she knows the deal-it’s a trial basis with him moving home. It’s anything but a done deal but she’s going to try to play for keeps anyway, hoping if the DNA test comes back that he’s Trina’s father it will help. He wouldn’t have risked his life to save Trina from Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) in Greenland if he didn’t care about Trina and if he didn’t care about her. Now if only she could convince him to keep Trina away from Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez)-that might be a sticking point; Curtis saw Spencer risk his own life for Trina!
Meanwhile, back at GH, Trina and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) catch up as Trina’s likely waiting on the paternity test results and Josslyn’s there for Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). Willow is in the midst of her bone marrow transplant, but in spite of that, Josslyn’s likely got Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) on her mind. She talks to Trina about having another option, possibly another way to ensure Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is arrested.
Dex is all Josslyn has on her mind recently, and she thinks that if Sonny is in prison that removes all danger from Dex. Dex was told by Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) that the takedown deal is off and he should leave town for his own safety-which neither Dex nor Josslyn wants.
Meanwhile, Spencer is at the Collins house on the phone and perhaps he’s got better news. He seems very happy as he tells the person on the other end of the line, possibly Trina, it’s funny how your life can change in an instant. Today is the day that his grandmother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) hosts an important event, and that could be the reading of Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) will. However, Spencer is seriously underdressed for such an occasion so he’s probably not talking about that-shirt open and no tie?
At the Metro Court, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has an agenda as she meets with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). When she’d met with Sonny earlier, he wanted information from Robert about the rumor that the SEC was coming after Carly as a favor for the DOJ to get to him. It makes one wonder whose side Diane is really on now, and if she has an agenda against Sonny, since she appears to be feeding some information to Robert.
She tells Robert that she has all the confirmation they need. But what is the confirmation for?
Drew pays a visit to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and their daughter Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante). He’s just left a Quartermaine family squabble and probably needs a break. But he wants to make sure his ex knows what’s going on with the SEC insider trading accusations regarding him and Carly. Of course Sam wants to help and likely offers to prove who the real whistleblower is but Drew tells her the less she knows, the better.
Meanwhile, at the bar in the Metro Court, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) definitely has an agenda as she gives Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) just a little encouragement. She’s both trying to feed her information and get Olivia to give her information about the SEC case, trying to make sure no one suspects she’s the whistleblower. Nina tells Olivia what she overheard Diane and Sonny discussing at Sonny’s penthouse, about the possibility Carly’s just the SEC’s pawn for the DOJ to get at Sonny.
Olivia is distracted by the sight of Diane and Robert sitting together talking at their table. Nina points her their way, telling her there’s only one way to find out-and that’s to ask.
Meanwhile, you could say Carly’s in the middle of a former family meeting as she talks with Sonny privately. They confer together and could be in an area of General Hospital also waiting on Willow’s procedure to be finished. He tells her they agree on “that” which could have to do with hopes and prayers the bone marrow transplant works. One thing that they don’t agree on is Sonny’s pushing Carly to turn him in to the DOJ to save herself, because she’s not going to do it.
