Portia talks to a friend about her problems with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and his gravitation back to Jordan and the kiss Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston) told her about. Portia thought Curtis was ready to reconcile with her when he moved back in, though he’s still sleeping in the guest room, but says it turned out he had other ideas. It looks like she talks to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) who tells her she won’t let her down.
Both Portia and Elizabeth have had their trials with relationships the last several months. Sometimes it’s just a matter of timing, and right now the timing might not be good.
Elsewhere, Jordan opens the door to Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) who seems he’s doing a lot better. He asks Jordan if he said no, would she believe him? It was Jordan who comforted her former DEA partner when she found him in a bad way at the Metro Court. He took the news that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) was Curtis’ daughter a lot harder than he had let on.
Elsewhere, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) looks like he’s talking to Molly Lansing-Davis (Holiday Mia Kriegel) although it could be her sister Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi). He’ll also open up to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) so this could be a family meeting to brainstorm about a solution for he and Molly to have a child. TJ seems positive as he says that he thinks this could work.
Molly’s endometriosis may have put a crimp in their plans to become parents. But it may just be a bump in the road.
Drew visits Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) to update her about his turning himself in for insider trading, his court hearing later that day. He’ll want to discuss what to tell Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) about him spending a few months away in jail, although they’re just getting reacquainted. Sam looks alarmed, and he tells her he thinks this is the best possible solution, since after all he did share information about the proposed merger he shouldn’t have. As far as he knows, it will only be six months in Spring Ridge, according to the deal his attorney Zeke got him.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) is the voice of reason, or at least she’s trying to be, as she talks to a very nervous Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Ava seems a bit rattled herself, as she tells Nina it’s only a matter of time before Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) gets back to himself and tells everybody what he heard! Ned had overheard Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and Nina discuss her being the SEC whistleblower, and she still thinks Nina needs to come clean!
At this point, however, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may still ditch Nina if he finds out she’s behind all the trouble Drew and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) are in. Nina will be more and more nervous and lie more and more until the truth comes out.
Meanwhile, both Sonny and Carly are at the courthouse as the SEC proceedings start-Carly’s outside the door as she tells him things are about to be resolved with the SEC. Drew should arrive shortly along with Zeke, and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will be with Carly. However, they’ll be in for an unpleasant surprise when the SEC judge hands down his verdict! Drew, Zeke, Carly and Sonny will all be blindsided!
