GH Spoilers Tuesday, July 11: Lives In Danger, Family Support, Frank Talks And Confrontations

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Tuesday, July 11 tease lives in danger, family support, frank talks and confrontation. Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) life’s in the balance, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) receives family support, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) has a frank talk, and Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is confronted.

General Hospital Spoilers: Life In The Balance

Curtis’ life remains in the balance with a bullet lodged next to his spine. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) tries to remain strong as Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) freaks out. Trina wants to know if that means Curtis can be paralyzed, and if the bullet has damaged the spinal cord, he could.

It will require very meticulous surgery to remove the bullet without damaging his spinal cord. Even then, he lost a lot of blood and he’s nowhere near out of the woods yet.

GH Spoilers: Family Support

Meanwhile, Marshall and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) are elsewhere having a cup of coffee, or maybe tea. Stella and Marshall are trying to provide each other family support but it’s unclear if they know yet about Curtis. If they did they would be at the hospital. She tells Marshall that only one thing would make it even better. Perhaps that one thing is if Marshall had never left his family at all, even though they’re bonded now.

General Hospital Spoilers: Frank Talks

Elsewhere, Finn and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) have a frank talk after leaving the pool where they assisted Curtis and answered police questions. It was an emotional day, and that following being matchmade by Violet Finn (Jophielle Love). Now that Curtis is at the hospital being attended to, Finn asks Elizabeth if she’d like to take the plunge again.

Obviously he’s not talking about a plunge in the Metro Court Pool, which is still a crime scene. He’s talking about dating again.

GH Spoilers: No Protection Racket Here

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has arrived on the scene after being notified about the shooting at the pool. She’s distraught and horrified, but tells Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) he doesn’t have to protect her, just tell her! The first thing he’ll tell her is that Curtis got hurt, and the second thing is likely that he thinks he was the target although it could have been Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) as well. It might be difficult to decide which news is worse, because Nina and Curtis are close friends and Sonny’s her fiancé.

General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis Ashford Not Doing Well

Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has arrived at GH along with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and they probably brought Trina from their picnic where he got the call about what happened. Now he’s on the phone with someone and giving them an update-it might be Sonny. He tells him that it feels like the odds are stacked against Curtis. If he survives, he might be paralyzed, but on the other hand he may not live through the operation.

Curtis has not regained consciousness since he was running away from the shots, but a ricochet apparently hit him in the back. The going theory is still that Sonny or Anna, or maybe both were targeted.

GH Spoilers: Anna Devane Asks Some Pertinent Questions

Anna is still with Sonny as Nina came wanting to know what happened, and now she asks him is that what this shooting is about? He was telling her about having some “friction” after explaining about what happened with the Pikeman Group, which Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) had given her a warning about. Valentin gave Anna the message for Sonny not to trust anyone new who claimed to be a Pikeman contact. Valentin knew them from his mercenary days and that they’re not to be trusted fully.

General Hospital Spoilers: Confrontation

At GH, after Josslyn saw Esmé and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) after their parenting class, she didn’t like what she saw. Now she blocks Esmé from leaving the room, confronting her and asking her where does she think she’s going? Esmé looks scared, and Josslyn won’t believe anything she does or says-she thinks Esmé’s amnesia has been bogus from the start.

The question is, will Spencer see this confrontation and intervene? And if he does, will Josslyn tell Trina not to trust him?
