Laura Collins (Genie Francis) checks in with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) at GH, and she’s touched by her loyalty to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). She refers to something Elizabeth has told her, asking her why would that be a good thing? The situation Laura’s eldest son has gotten himself into this time nearly put her in shock, and it’s a life changer.
Elizabeth has likely made a comment about Esmé and her pregnancy, perhaps she wonders if it were better Esmé had miscarried? Laura as well as Spencer Cassadine, (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) were shocked.
As for Spencer, he’s pushing it, telling anyone who can make a difference in the outcome that Esmé needs to be held accountable. Spencer apparently still believes Esmé to be The Hook, although the likelihood of that is becoming more and more unlikely. He may be telling Port Charles Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to move forward on the arrest, six months pregnant carrying his sibling or not. Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) may still be there as well, trying to get Esmé out of the jam. He thought he could possibly get all the charges dropped from the revenge porn, even.
Spencer may move on to accusing Esmé after he tries to influence the prosecution of the charges she may be facing as The Hook. She is almost in tears as she can’t believe someone would think she did all those crazy things, including the revenge porn. She looks at the person talking to her and seems hurt that he or she would think she did all that crazy stuff.
Martin may even think she did all that crazy revenge porn stuff, but it’s unlikely he thinks she’s The Hook. But he had a good point that the only person the prosecution had in their court was Oz Haggerty, (Max Faugno) and he’s dead!
Back at Wyndemere, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) puts Nikolas on the spot after going into the North Tower in his absence and finding a burnt Christmas ornament. It matches the one Esmé had in her bag that went into PCPD evidence, and Victor tells Nikolas the Cassadines may be better off cutting their losses. Victor wanted to know what was going on in the North Tower after Spencer had mentioned Demetrius (Ari Kappatos) going into it to get some of Spencer’s things. Victor obviously had to check things out for himself, and he has some things to fix he may not be able to.
Dex gives Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) an unexpected warning; he tells her if she isn’t careful he could really mess her up. Josslyn looks shocked he would tell her something like that, and he’s supposed to stay away from her per Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). He’s done anything but, having taken her from the docks after The Hook attack back to his apartment where they had sex!
Does he have some secrets from previous relationships, or is he talking about trying to protect her from being implicated in things he’s doing for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)? Joss looks like she’s going to cry, so maybe he’s trying to get her to stay away from him.
It sounds like Willow regrets keeping her leukemia a secret for as long as she did, as she’s in tears as she asks Michael why he doesn’t hate her for “that”. The baby is doing fine but Willow, not so much – they thought they had a bone marrow donor but now they’re back to square one. Something has to happen soon, because the chemo isn’t working and they may have to reach out to people they know to be tested. Willow had insisted on keeping her condition a secret, and now she’s eight months along and they must consider a c section to save the baby’s life.
In the meanwhile, Sonny, who along with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) accidentally found out about Willow’s leukemia, chastises her. He says the infighting has to stop, Willow’s life and possibly that of her baby may be at risk, although they don’t know the whole story. Sonny and Nina may start the ball rolling by getting checked as donors themselves, whether Michael, Willow, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) like it or not.
There has been enough death and loss for both their families lately and everyone needs to work together. Willow needs a miracle and Nina will be wanting to find it, because the last thing she wants is Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) without a mother.
