GH Spoilers Tuesday, August 8: Help Wanted, Hot Seats, Horrible Guilt

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Tuesday, August 8 tease help wanted, hot seats and horrible guilt.

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) requests help, Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) in the hot seat, and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) feels horrible guilt.

General Hospital Spoilers – Help Wanted

After unsuccessful requests from help from Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and being turned away by Ferncliff Nurse Janice (Lauren Swickard) to see Sasha, Cody talks to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

They talk at the Quartermaine mansion in the living room and Brook Lynn says when he says it like that, it sounds like something shady is going on.

Cody is afraid for Sasha, because he feels indeed like something shady is going on, and he refuses to press charges or cooperate with the PCPD concerning his stabbing.

Cody and Brook Lynn work on a plan to get Cody into Ferncliff to see Sasha and somehow bypass Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) very strict visitor list. Brook Lynn will find a way to cause some kind of distraction because she one hundred percent agrees with Cody’s theory.

GH Spoilers – Decisions, Decisions

At the hospital, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) continues to talk with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) about Cyrus’ request to give away all his money to start a halfway house.

This halfway house will be for outgoing prison inmates to help them re-enter society and go straight, giving them the tools they need.

Martin obviously has his doubts and asks Cyrus if he’s sure he made the right decision. Perhaps it’s Cyrus’ motives he doubts more than he doubts the idea itself.

General Hospital Spoilers – Hot Seats

Valentin’s on the hot seat at Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) house as she found there was one common link between the WSB, Pikeman, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Valentin is the link, and after telling him she thought she knew who shot at her and telling him he knew too, she asks if he’s keeping something from her.

Valentin did work as a logistics coordinator for Pikeman back in his old mercenary days, and apparently that’s why they made him their go-between between him and Sonny.

Valentin might have a difficult time explaining to Anna just why he’s their go-between with Sonny, after not having had anything to do with them for years.

\Anna cannot help but be suspicious, but Valentin should not have difficulty understanding why.

GH Spoilers – Hamilton Finn And Elizabeth Baldwin’s Close Moment

Back at the hospital, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) share a close moment, but she seems to be having second thoughts about it.

Finn may have asked her if something was wrong, or picked up on a hesitation and questioned her about it.

It’s understandable that she might want to move slow as well as he does. These two might actually get somewhere in their relationship if they quit being afraid of it!

General Hospital Spoilers – Well?

Back in Cyrus’ room he and his brother Martin continue to discuss Cyrus’ request. He tells Martin to just tell him he did as he asked, but it sounds like he may not have yet.

That is a big decision so it would be in Cyrus’ best interest to think about it and not be impulsive, based on a near-death experience.

Cyrus and Martin will continue to discuss, and perhaps argue about the request that Cyrus made. This may not be something that will be ironed out in one hospital visit.

GH Spoilers – Tracy Quartermaine’s Shocking Decision

In the Quartermaine kitchen, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) comes to a shocking decision which shocks Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).

Olivia is Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) wife, so if anyone should make a decision like this it’s her, not his mother.

Tracy makes a pronouncement that it’s time to have Ned committed to a mental health facility. Olivia will be sure to argue about that, at least while Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) is still out of town and can’t reevaluate Ned.

General Hospital Spoilers – Horrible Guilt

Sasha is in bad shape in Ferncliff, looking like she’s huddled against a wall, screaming that she never meant to hurt someone. The question is, whether it’s Cody she’s crying to or if it’s someone else and she’s hallucinating again.

Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) injected her IV with yet another type of concoction, supposedly to make her stop hallucinating.

No one would be surprised if it’s not Cody she’s crying an apology to trying to assuage her horrible guilt. But maybe she’s finally getting lucky.
