GH Spoilers: Trina Suggests The Best Thing For Ace Is Esme And Spencer Falling In Love

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is about to leave Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) speechless as she aims to convince him to put their relationship back on the back burner. Sprina fans everywhere are about to pop their tops. Spencer won’t be on board with this plan at first, but rumor has it Trina is going to be successful at convincing him that the best course of action to take in pursuing custody of his baby brother, Ace Cassadine, is to make Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) think she has a shot at being Spencer’s next girlfriend — and perhaps even letting her assume the role.

Spencer can’t fathom the idea of being in a relationship with Esme again — even if it is all make believe. Still, Spencer thought he left all of that in the past, and he’s been eager to move on with the one part of his life that makes any sense and brings him any semblance of joy — his relationship with Trina. Hearing her say she thinks they should take another time-out is the last thing he wanted to come out of her mouth.

GH Spoilers – Say Esme Price Is Alone

Spencer will find it hard to argue with Trina. Esme is incredibly lonely. Waking up in the hospital after she collapsed on the Haunted Star was a jolt to her system. She didn’t even know she was pregnant, much less a hostage on the run or a fugitive evading justice. She’s been through many ups and downs since then, giving birth to her baby with strangers all around her, being swept up with two psychopaths seeking vengeance, and learning they were her birth parents. Now, Esme just wants some peace and a stable life for herself and her son, but a friend or two who made her feel like she really belongs wouldn’t hurt.

Trina has no idea that Spencer is already working with his uncle, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), to see to it that Esme is removed from the equation sooner rather than later. However, if Trina can present this plan in the right package to Spencer, he just might see it as a better option than surrendering his soul to his sinister uncle. As Trina helps Spencer to see how easy of a target this new version of Esme might be, he could reconsider his alliance with Victor and opt for being Esme’s new beau instead.
