GH Spoilers: Trina Gets Spencer’s Wheels Turning — And He Doesn’t Like It

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) was forceful when she told Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) the truth he hadn’t been warning to hear.

Let’s be honest, she’s been holding this in for a long time. Maybe now that they’ve consummated their relationship, she feels secure enough in it to hurt Spencer’s feelings and not worry she’s going to lose him every time.

General Hospital Spoilers — Ace Cassadine Is A sensitive Topic For Spencer

Normally, Trina is pretty honest with Spencer, but she’s been holding back on the Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) issue for months. Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) is a sensitive topic for Spencer and he wants nothing more than to hang onto his little brother.

Now that Trina has painted a very different picture for him — one in which he’s possibly not in Ace’s life like he is now — Spencer will have some thinking to do.

GH Spoilers — Someday Esme Prince And Ace Will Be On Their Own

Trina bared all when she told Spencer that Esme and Ace are going to be on their own someday. She wasn’t wrong. That is Esme’s goal and always has been. She doesn’t want to live under the Cassadine thumb forever — not even with the lovely Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

At the same time, Trina argued that living in this “playing house” situation is Esme’s dream come true. So which is it? Does she want Spencer all to herself, or does she want to cut him out of Ace’s life?

The more that Spencer stews over this, the more he will come to realize giving himself to Esme might be the best way to stay in his brother’s life. But what will that mean for him and Trina?

General Hospital Spoilers Hint Trina Robinson Seems All Too Eager for That Day

It won’t be lost on Spencer that Trina wasn’t just honest with him, but she didn’t seem all that compassionate. It was as though she was eager to see the day come when Esme wanted to part ways with Spencer.

Sure, he couldn’t blame her for wanting that. As she recounted all of the terrible things Esme did to her, Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy), and Cameron Webber (William Lipton), Spencer realized how much anger Trina still holds for Esme.

He’ll also start to recognize that he no longer feels the same way. He has softened toward Esme; he had to.

GH Spoilers — Spencer Cassadine Grows Further Attached

Spencer is only going to grow more attached to his little brother over time. Adding a layer of anxiety that he might lose access to him will only make him want to hold on stronger.

As Spencer finds that Trina is right and Esme is keen on “playing house” with him, he may come to believe the best way for him to secure a place in Ace’s life forever is to keep up that act with Esme.
