GH Spoilers: Tracy Used Her Son’s Emergency To Take A Stab At Drew — And Ned Won’t Forget It

General Hospital (GH) spoilers claim Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is as ruthless as they come. In fact, she might be the most vindictive and calculating Quartermaine alive today. When her son, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), took a near-fatal spill at the Metro Court pool, Tracy was quick to think on her feet. Always working an agenda and looking out for number one, Tracy pointed the finger of blame at Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), insisting that he shoved Ned to the ground and caused his head trauma.

Although Tracy was forced to alter her statement to the police within mere hours, and although Ned may not be surprised to learn what she did, he’s still not going to be thrilled about it. Tracy knows this. She might not be happy that her son woke up as Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth), but that doesn’t mean she’ll be in any hurry to get Ned back to his good senses where he might call her to task for what she tried to do to Drew — and at such a disaster of a time when her son could have been dying.

No one could have pulled off Tracy’s scheme better than she did at the pace with which she did it. It was almost as though she had planned the entire thing. Obviously, that isn’t possible, but Ned’s fall gave Tracy a quick opportunity to throw Drew behind bars.

That’s what she’s been angling after for months, and it may be her undoing when the family starts nosing around. Could the fact that Tracy was itching to get Drew thrown into jail lead them to believe that she was the SEC tipster after all?

GH Spoilers – Say Eddie Maine Won’t Care

Apparently suffering from dissociative identity disorder, Ned believes he has his former rockstar persona, Eddie Maine. This isn’t going to delight Tracy; she was never a big fan of that phase of her son’s life anyway.

Many questions remain unanswered, but one will be on the tip of everyone’s tongue: how long can this go on? Rumors are swirling that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will embrace the change in her father in hopes that he will be her next big music act that launches her career.

Might Tracy embrace this, too, turning the rest of the Q’s heads as she hopes to hold off on Ned coming back to his own and holding her accountable for her bad behavior?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Fight For Ned Quartermaine Is Fierce

Tracy can fight it all she wants but the rest of the Quartermaine family is going to vie for Ned’s attention and try to bring his memories back. This might be met with many rebuttals from Ned himself, who won’t see the need to try to pretend he is anyone else as he is convinced he is Eddie.

If the Quartermaine family splits in two, with some of them coddling Ned’s rebound personality and others working against it, we could see further mental health woes for Ned down the road.
