GH Spoilers: TJ Wants More Time As Molly Charges Ahead To Find A New Surrogate

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) felt his heart break when he told Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) that their surrogate — Andrea Gates (Lily Anne Harrison) — had miscarried their baby. Ever since then, they have grieved in their own way as a couple and found the strength to move forward.

Soon, Molly is going to feel ready to pursue their journey to parenthood further by finding a new surrogate, but TJ just isn’t there yet.

He needs more time to process what has happened and prepare himself for the reality that it could happen again and again. Despite Molly’s confidence and unwillingness to waste time waiting around, TJ just can’t meet her where she is — and it’s going to be a problem.

As much as TJ thought Molly would take more time than this to get over the loss of their baby, he won’t necessarily be surprised that she wants to barrel ahead with plans to start over. After all, he was the one who told her Andrea said she couldn’t go through this again.

Thus, they’ll have to search for a new surrogate and start from square one. That’s not what either of them were expecting but Molly doesn’t want to sit idly by as they both want this as soon as possible — or so she thought.

When TJ keeps making up excuses for why he can’t meet with the new surrogates she has picked out — and leaves her to do that all on her own — it’s sure to sew some distance between them.

Molly may give TJ a pass the first few times he can’t make a meeting or help her go over information on potential surrogates, but the deeper she gets into this process — and the closer she gets to picking a surrogate she likes — the more she’ll feel like he’s not on board at all.

Eventually, he may have to be brutally honest with her that although he let her get further commitment to the idea of getting pregnant again, he’s just not ready yet.

That’s going to leave Molly in quite a pinch given that she’s the only one of the two of them who can’t do this on her own.

Meanwhile, fans are expecting that Andrea has something rather sinister up her sleeve. We don’t know yet if she’s plotting a takedown of this couple alone — or if she’s completely off her rocker and desperate to have a baby.

Either way, it’s expected that she’s going to resurface in some fashion — and with TJ’s baby. Could she end up in the emergency room at GH after having given birth — leading TJ to question whether the child is his after doing the math?

How will he share that news with Molly? Will it be Andrea’s intention to keep the child from them both — or is she keen on trying to take TJ away from Molly along with their baby?
