GH Spoilers: TJ Delivers Important News To Kevin And Laura-Confirms Esmé’s Parentage?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will have important news to deliver to Kevin and Laura Collins (Jon Lindstrom, Genie Francis). It makes sense that Kevin especially might want to make sure that she’s really Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) daughter so a DNA test would confirm.

General Hospital Spoilers – Esmé Prince Could Be A Kidnapped Baby

Even though Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) have information from Maggie Fitzgerald (Heather Olt) tying her to Ryan, it doesn’t prove parentage. For all Kevin and Laura know, Heather could be making her part of it up and Ryan could have kidnapped her from past victims. Heather’s DNA is easy to get, they have Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) DNA profile on file at the PCPD and Ryan was Kevin’s twin.

Kevin has to admit his purported niece does have some family resemblance and for her and the baby’s sake medical history is needed. If Esmé really is his niece and Franco’s half-sister there are some serious diseases in both families.

GH Spoilers – Esmé Prince Agrees To The Test

Esmé has no problem agreeing to the test, she would love to have her parentage disproved, but either way she needs and wants to know. It was decided to bypass Heather’s DNA and use Franco’s, since Heather would perhaps not agree to the test. That, of course would have been a dead giveaway that she lied, and if she even knew it was being done she possibly could have contacted someone to fake it. Involving Heather would involve too much risk of false positives so they just bypass her entirely; if Franco’s was not viable they’ll request Steve Webber’s (Scott Reeves). Esmé and Kevin go to the General Hospital lab to get tested, Kevin’s and Ryan’s as twins will be identical.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Tests Have Come In

Kevin is notified that the tests have come in and he and Laura go to get them—it proves that Ryan and Heather indeed are Esmé’s parents. Esmé’s not happy with the results but Kevin is able to convince her that criminal behavior is not genetic in any way-he’s not a serial killer just because Ryan was. Kevin explains bad things happened to Ryan when he was little, and that could be part of why he became what he was, although it may not.

Kevin also tells Esmé about her half-brother Franco, and that his criminal actions were caused by a brain tumor-it doesn’t mean she’ll get one, it wasn’t genetic either. Laura and Kevin also tell her about Steve, and that his mistakes happened because of his time being raised by Heather-at least that’s the theory, so evil is not inherited.
