GH Spoilers: Time For Nikolas Cassadine To Return, But Who Will Be Playing Him?

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) may finally be returning to Port Charles. The Cassadine prince has been MIA ever since Ava Jerome (Maura West) hit him over the head and believed she had killed him. Only, he wasn’t really dead and is being held on life support by the creepy Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) in an undisclosed location.

Nikolas’ mom, Laura Collins (Genie Francis), and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) believe he is in Chechnya and set out to find him. General Hospital spoilers tell us that he is coming home soon, but so many different actors have played Nikolas. Whose face will we see back in Port Charles?

Will Adam Huss Reprise The Role Of Nikolas On General Hospital?

Adam Huss was the last face we saw as the Cassadine prince, the one Ava hit on the head, and the one on the ventilator. This was not his only time playing Nikolas. He had been periodically stepping into the role since 2021. Fans believe it will most likely be Huss who reappears on GH, but there are other options.

Marcus Coloma To Return As Nikolas Cassadine?

Marcus Coloma was the latest full-time Nikolas. He was the guy who came back after pretending to be dead for years. He was around when Nikolas was fighting with his now-adult son Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).

He fell in love and married Ava, but went on to sleep with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Let’s not forget that he then kept the pregnant girl a prisoner at Wyndemere. It is unlikely we will see Coloma back on General Hospital. His contract was up and not renewed.

Would Stephen Martines Come Back To GH?

Stephen Martines stepped into the role in the early 2000s. His Nikolas was in the Port Charles “teen scene” with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), Lucky Spencer (then-Jacob Young), and Emily Quartermaine (then-Amber Tamblyn).

He went on to play Tony Santos on Guiding Light and Frederick on The Vampire Diaries. More recently, he is trying his hand at country music. We will probably not see Martines back on GH.

The Original Nikolas – Tyler Christopher

Most General Hospital fans will always hold out hope for Tyler Christopher to come back home and play Nikolas Cassadine. Christopher originated the role and, to some, there is no other.

He was on and off as the character from 1996–1999, 2003–2011, 2013–2016. He spent the longest time as Nikolas and we watched him love and lose multiple times. The most heartbreaking being when the love of his life, Emily Quartermaine (then-Natalia Livingston) was killed.

The return of the original Nikolas would be twice as nice if Jonathan Jackson would come back as Lucky Spencer. We can wish, can’t we? See what happens by keeping up with General Hospital.
