Sam has a frank talk with her sister Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) as she says it’s just not possible. Kristina was offended at Sam’s overanalyzing and criticisms of her planning the youth shelter her father is financing. All Kristina wants is someone to believe in her for a change, instead of forecasting her failure.
A little encouragement would be nice for a change instead of being controlled. Kristina’s fighting an uphill battle trying to convince the female side of her family that she’s not just a mess-up.
Meanwhile, at Portia’s office at General Hospital, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has unexpected news, but she seems to be taking it in stride. After a talk about Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and his feelings for her with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) he pays Portia a visit. Perhaps Portia was expecting this outcome and she’s prepared herself for it, although she is surprised by his visit. She asks him to clarify that he’s saying he’s officially ending things.
Elsewhere, Jordan is having a heart to heart talk with her old friend and colleague Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). It’s likely about the near missed one night stand with Curtis when he tried to get her to go with him from The Savoy. It’s been no secret that she’s wanted him back even though she and Portia had just cleared the air at GH.
Jordan tells Anna that now there’s a new secret weighing on her conscience. Anna looks concerned as Jordan really does look upset.
Elsewhere, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) confides in Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) about his and Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Haley Pullos) latest fight. Molly had held back from him about the symptoms of her endometriosis all this time and he had asked her why didn’t she tell him. She in turn lashed out, saying they can never have a baby and it’s all her fault? Stella tells TJ the best advice she can give him is to know her-you just can’t assume things about a person.
As Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Nina continue their conversation about Nina and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) new engagement, Nina is determined. She says any ramifications are worth it, after Ava warned if Sonny ever found out she turned Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) into the SEC it would be the end of them. Nina is just as determined to go through with her wedding to Sonny as she is to keep her whistleblower secret.
The more conflict with Carly she has the more determined she’ll be for her to go to prison as well. Ava continues to try to talk sense into her friend.
Meanwhile, Sonny is at Carly’s where he went to share the important news of his and Nina’s engagement before she heard it somewhere else. Unbeknownst to him, she saw them celebrating in the Metro Court and Nina telling their server Trish (Trish Ramish) they were engaged and flashed her ring.
Carly was anything but happy for the couple and later ranted to Diane Miller, (Carolyn Hennesy) who’d come by to discuss defense options for the SEC case. Carly and Sonny begin talking and she tells him sometimes the simplest solution is the truth-sounding like she’s considering accepting possible prison time.
