GH Spoilers Thursday, March 9: Shocking Responses, Big Ideas, Family Confrontations

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Thursday, March 9 tease shocking responses, big ideas and family confrontations in Port Charles. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is shocked at Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) response, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) shares big ideas, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) confronts Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).

General Hospital Spoilers – Shocking Responses

In front of the Nurses’ Station at GH, Nina is shocked when Curtis hands back a card, obviously meant for his and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) wedding as a belated gift. He is curt as he hands it back and says he can’t accept it, and Nina is blindsided. Nina and Curtis will catch up and she’ll find out that he and Portia are not together, and it doesn’t look like Curtis will ever take her back.

They’ve been splitsville since the truth came out at the end of the wedding reception when Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) returned. Trina confronted her mother right then and there about lying to her all her life about her birth father.

GH Spoilers – Trina Robinson And Ava Jerome Catch Up

In the meantime, Trina and her friend and mentor Ava Jerome (Maura West) are elsewhere as Trina briefs Ava on the latest happenings. It sounds like she is telling Ava about her paternity issues as well as Spencer’s with trying to get custody of baby Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay). Ava speaks softly and with compassion as she looks down at her young friend, and tells her she doesn’t think she can help her with that. No one can help Trina with her paternity issues unless they have a time travelling machine, and Spencer will have to calm down and adjust for a while.

General Hospital Spoilers – Maxie Jones Has Big Ideas

Maxie is talking with Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and they may be planning the wedding for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). There’s a lot to get done in a very short time because Willow wants to get married as soon as possible and practical, in spite of her evolving medical issues. It sounds like perhaps Bobbie has some ideas of her own she’s shared.

Maxie is excited and bubbly as she tells Bobbie somebody needs to do something about it. Bobbie and Maxie will work on it.

GH Spoilers – The Morning After

In a Metro Court suite, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is putting his clothes back on and thanking someone not to mention last night! That’s probably Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) who handed him a hotel key as they talked at a table. She had been spilling the tea at the safe house to Robert Scorpio, (Tristan Rogers) Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) about things Victor had told her. They wanted more information about the place she said Victor told her he was looking for that the Ice Princess would have coordinates to. It would probably be best for her to get on with her day as soon as possible.

General Hospital Spoilers – Speaking Of…

Speaking of Eileen, she’s bound to be the subject of the charged conversation going on at the safe house, where Anna and Valentin have briefed Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner). Felicia is angry as she says “she’s going down first” and Valentin nods his agreement-also, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will be horrified. Perhaps she’s overhearing this charged conversation about someone going down and she’s afraid they’re talking about her!

Eileen isn’t getting off so easy after trying to sleep her way to power and political aspirations with the elder Cassadine. Even confessing she was in over her head won’t get her out of the sticky wicket she’s in.

GH Spoilers – Laura Collins Gives An Update

Elsewhere, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is updating Eileen, and it sounds like Eileen wants to know what’s next. She doesn’t exactly look pleased as Laura tells her they’re biding their time until she can be useful to them. Laura, Robert, Valentin, Anna and Felicia probably want to test her and make sure she’s really trustworthy before they do anything else. After all, she may be just raring to go with the next step trying to find out what they’re useful for to Victor.

General Hospital Spoilers – Family Confrontations

Gladys looks pretty uncomfortable when she realizes Sonny’s got her number as he wants to know what she’s doing with Selina Wu (Lydia Look). Gladys has been gambling away hers, Sasha Corbin’s, (Sofia Mattsson) and possibly Deception Cosmetics’ funds as well for the past several months. Sonny may have gotten a clue when Sasha complained that Gladys had sold Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage, which Sasha hadn’t wanted to sell, way under market.

Sonny dealt with his late father, Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) many gambling losses at the horse racing track for years. Someone in trouble with gambling sticks out to him like a sore thumb.
