General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, March 23 tease unhappy endings, looking back, seeking answers, and surprising news. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) relays an unhappy ending, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) looks back, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) seeks answers and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is surprised.

General Hospital Spoilers – Unhappy Endings

At GH, Portia relays an unhappy ending to Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) who’ll encourage her to hang on. When she talked to Curtis earlier, he acted like there was no chance to save their marriage. She tells Marshall she thinks that says it all, doesn’t it?

Marshall will tell her Curtis is still angry and hurt, but even without watching him grow up he knows it’ll take him a while to get over it. She needs to be patient and give Curtis his space.

GH Spoilers – Looking Back

Meanwhile, Curtis is still at the bar at Charlie’s Pub, where he’s asked for a scotch, neat. Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) was still there after talking to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), where she’d asked about Curtis. Curtis looks back on his and Jordan’s marriage, which fell apart when he got upset about her “lies”-he didn’t want to understand she couldn’t tell him police business. There was a time when she was blackmailed by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) was kidnapped, she didn’t tell Curtis what she knew. Now Curtis wants to know if he and Jordan would have still been together had he made different choices.

General Hospital Spoilers – Alexis Davis, Shaken, Not Stirred

Meanwhile, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is at the Invader office where Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) has shown up to call her out on her calling Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). Alexis was shaken, but not stirred to change her mind, after her incorrect assumption that Greg had a drinking problem and had fallen off the wagon. Finn is her Alcoholics Anonymous contact to call if she’s having problems, so that made sense to her.

Gregory apparently is telling her the truth behind his not working and his near collapse in front of her. But she’s upset more than ever, wanting to know why would he do that, the implication being keeping a serious medical issue from his family.

GH Spoilers – Maxie Jones Has Exciting News

At Kelly’s, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) bursts in with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) right behind her as she excitedly tells someone she has exciting news. Perhaps she’s talking about something related to the Nurses’ Ball and she’s got Cody doing an act with Comet. Maxie is having difficulty keeping up with Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) constant blowing up of her phone with directions for minutia regarding the ball. But she can’t turn loose her control and is more or less driving everyone crazy!

General Hospital Spoilers – Seeking Answers

At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is impatiently seeking answers, wanting to know from Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) if her decision came back. She’s waiting to see if the board decided to let her keep nursing at GH or if her job is over. Finn tried to encourage her, putting her in mind that the person in charge had given her a rose.

But Elizabeth will continue to stress until the review board has made their decision. And Terry will try to calm her down, as she wants to know if the decision is good or bad!

GH Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Reassures Trina Robinson

After Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and baby Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) came home to live with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) offers reassurance. Spencer unfortunately lives there again as well, since Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was ambushed and tells Trina that is the last thing he wants. He told Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) that their plan didn’t quite work out as they wanted, with Esmé staying above Kelly’s and the baby with him. They’ll figure it out, Esmé had stressed, because she doesn’t have a family-forgetting about Uncle Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).

General Hospital Spoilers – Safety First

Laura is on the couch with Esmé while Trina and Spencer appeared to be elsewhere; she tells her it’s not too late to make sure her son is safe. Laura will support Esmé keeping her baby even if it causes friction between her and Spencer, and Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) should he ever return. Laura, regretting she left Nikolas behind on Cassadine Island when she escaped, would never want to separate Esmé from Ace.

Esmé is starting to trust Nikolas’ mother and Spencer’s grandmother. And she’ll have a chance to know Kevin better as her uncle and be able to tell the difference between him and her late father, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).

GH Spoilers – Surprising News

At Kelly’s, Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) has surprising news for Gladys, who looks taken aback as she rushes towards her. Sasha tells her she knows that Cody upset her and she knows why. Perhaps she knows that Gladys has a gambling addiction and Cody may have stepped in to help. Sasha has one kind of addiction and Gladys another, although Sasha probably doesn’t know the whole story.
