GH Spoilers Thursday, April 20: Urgent Requests, Hopeful Statements, Wise Choices

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Thursday, April 20 tease urgent requests, hopeful statements and wise choices. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has an urgent request, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) a hopeful statement, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) thinks someone made a wise choice.

General Hospital Spoilers – Urgent Requests

Curtis makes an urgent request of his old friend Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) as he tries to trigger important memories. Curtis presses Drew, telling him he has to remember because Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) life depends on it. Trina’s life depends on finding The Haunted Star more than ever now, since Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) bodyguard Ambrose (Charles Ambrose) found her in Spencer’s stateroom.

Drew has suspected that whatever Victor has been looking for had something to do with an old Navy project he’d been involved in as a Seal, Operation Demeter. Perhaps the location of the likely scuttled project has something to do with Victor’s destination.

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome And Portia Robinson Connect

Ava Jerome (Maura West) rushed to the hospital from Wyndemere, where she left Carly babysitting Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava or Grace Scarola). Carly had just told her that it was suspected that Trina had been with Spencer when he was kidnapped by Victor, and Portia rushed to see Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Trina’s mom is scared to death and barely holding it together as she cries and tells Ava she promises her that she’ll never see them again, apparently referring to Trina. Perhaps the “them’ Portia refers to are the works of art Trina is so fond of and learned so much about under Ava’s mentoring-Ava will try to help her keep positive.

General Hospital Spoilers – Hopeful Statements

As Ambrose brings a captured Trina into the dining room of the Haunted Star, he tells a frightened, yet angry, Trina she may have saved them. He knows that she got into the engine room and cut an electrical wire which has now slowed down the ship enough for search and rescue to catch up to them. Victor is not happy and Spencer should probably not trust the food he threatens to serve him, and Spencer will be trying to figure out how to keep Trina safe.

Their rescuers need to get to The Haunted Star as soon as possible, Victor gets more dangerous by the day. Victor, in the meantime, just keeps plotting.

GH Spoilers – Ned Quartermaine Vents

Back in Port Charles at the Quartermaine estate, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) vents to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), telling her the longer he stays silent, the worse it looks! Brook Lynn looks concerned, but she cannot convince someone not to keep quiet about something. The “he” Ned refers to could be Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Ned will remain preoccupied throughout the period until Michael and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) get married.  When it comes time for the wedding, Ned and Brook Lynn will need to navigate some tricky dynamics.

General Hospital Spoilers – Liesl Obrecht Grudgingly Complies

On The Haunted Star, now in international waters, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) grudgingly complies with Victor’s demands and he smiles and tells her he knew she’d rise to the challenge. Victor wants her to make vaccines against the deadly pathogens he plans to inflict on the world to exterminate half the population. All of the Cassadines who come to his side and any other “true believer” who sides with him will be vaccinated, the rest will die.

Liesl isn’t happy and she may pull a fast one on Victor where making up the first vaccine vial is concerned. She would be able to do that since she’s the only one who would know if she’s making it correctly or not.

GH Spoilers – Wise Choices

Back at Wyndemere, Carly feels Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is making wise choices as she tells Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) he’s finally putting his family ahead of her. Michael invited Sonny to the wedding but banned Nina, going by Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) desires.

It was a tough decision for Sonny to say yes, but perhaps he’s got something up his sleeve to convince Willow to let Nina come. He may even try a guilt trip, knowing Willow would understand a mother wanting to see a dying daughter get married-she’s not the only one who’s lost a child.
