GH Spoilers: The Real Reason Stella Kept Quiet

General Hospital spoilers tease Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) has been feeling mighty guilty about her decision to keep quiet about Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) paternity secret. She didn’t tell Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) that he may have been Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) father, and now she claims she didn’t want to be the reason for any discord between him and Portia. But the truth is much muddier than that.

Stella knows a whole lot more about family paternity than she’s let on, and it’s possible that she didn’t want to turn Curtis’ attention toward any of his ancestry because there is yet another secret lurking.

General Hospital Spoilers — Curtis Ashford Is Trina Robinson’s Father

Now that the truth is out and everyone knows Curtis is actually Trina’s biological father — not Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) — some relief is helping to settle this family, finally. Curtis and Portia are making a go of seeing whether they can work through their trust issues.

Keeping a secret like this was no small mistake, and Curtis isn’t yet sure if he really wants to be with Portia. Of course, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) is complicating that by reminding him that he has feelings for her, too. Nonetheless, it looks like they could be on their way to happily ever after — if only everyone else would stay out of their way.

GH Spoilers  – Stella Ashford Is In The Clear…For Now

General Hospital spoilers show Stella was a bit terrified of coming back to Port Charles and facing the music. She hadn’t spoken to Curtis since before his wedding, and she wasn’t sure how he was feeling about her. Wondering if she would ever have a relationship with him again, she took a page from her own book and told herself love is always worth fighting for.

Now, she knows things are going to be okay with her and her nephew, but only if she can keep the truth about why she withheld that information under wraps.

General Hospital Spoilers — Marshall Ashford Knows The Truth

Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) was delighted and surprised to see Stella at the door when she slipped into town unannounced. He must trust that she wouldn’t want his lies to come crashing down any more than he does, because she is complicit in them.

Years ago, Curtis’ father abandoned his family and although he’s given an explanation for that since — not wanting his sons to see him spiraling due to Schizophrenia — something just doesn’t add up, many fans claim.

Of course, the truth came out that he isn’t suffering from Schizophrenia anyway. So could it be that Marshall actually left his boys after learning their mother was unfaithful and that their sons weren’t his — or specifically, Curtis wasn’t his son?

Stella may have wanted to keep all talks of family relations off the table out of paranoia that Curtis could unearth the truth about his late mother — her sister. The truth is always stranger than fiction, as they say. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
