GH Spoilers: The Evidence Points To Nikolas As The PCPD Surmise He Tried To Kill Esme

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal the evidence is going to start mounting rather quickly as the PCPD investigates how Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) came to be drenched by icy waters and suffering from hypothermia at roughly six months pregnant. They’ve been searching for her for months to no avail and now she has conveniently washed up claiming to have no memory of where she’s been or even who she is.

The PCPD are going to approach the cas cautiously while expecting she might be lying, but they will be rather stunned when they begin to find evidence that points not to Esme, but to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

General Hospital Spoilers — The Ornament Tells A Story

When the orderly at GH gave Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) Esme’s belongings that they pulled off of her along with her drenched clothing when she was brought it, one of the items on her person was a Christmas tree ornament. Dante found that odd and made a remark about it, thinking little more about what it could mean.

Of course, Esme hadn’t taken that with her as any sort of clue, and she couldn’t have predicted how things would turn out for her. However, if there is an investigation soon at Wyndemere due to the fire — or other evidence that points in Nikolas’ direction — the PCPD aren’t going to have to think twice when they find remnants of matching ornaments in the north tower that was recently set ablaze.

GH Spoilers – Hint Heather Webber Tells One, Too

Of course, that ornament isn’t the only tangled web woven into this story. Esme’s birth mother, Heather Webber (Alley Mills), has just revealed herself as The Hook — or at least one version of it. It’s unclear how many of those psychopaths are roaming around. However, Heather is in a good position to clear Esme’s name — at least in this case — if she confesses to being The Hook in effort to let Esme off the proverbial hook.

She doesn’t know yet that her daughter has no memory of who she is or how she got to be pregnant and suffering from hypothermia at GH. Still, the last thing Heather and Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) want is to see their daughter locked up behind bars, although it wouldn’t be an unhappy ending if she were with them. Will a confession with Heather spare Esme from paying for The Hook’s crimes? Did she even commit any of them?

General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Prince Goes Free And Nik Cassadine’s in Jeopardy

Word on the street is that Heather’s confession could work to free Esme from jail, for now. However, she’s still the prime suspect in the sex tape scandal for which she framed Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). On the flipside, Nikolas is going to be anything but a free man when the PCPD come to realize he is connected to Esme’s whereabouts for at least some of the last six months.

Hiding a fugitive is a crime in this country, and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) won’t take it easy on Nikolas just because he claims he was trying to protect his unborn child. That being said, Nik could try to skip town before things get too bad for him. If history has taught us anything, it’s that Cassadine men don’t stick around waiting to be arrested.
