GH Spoilers: Taggert Demands Paternity Test From Portia

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) will seek out Portia Robinson Ashford (Brook Kerr). He’ll insist on doing a paternity test NOW and demands answers to see whether he or Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is really Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) father.

General Hospital Spoilers – They’ve Waited Long Enough

Obviously, Taggert wasn’t happy that Trina was so devastated, and although he knew that Portia had an affair, he didn’t connect Trina’s conception to that affair. It wasn’t until recently he even knew that Curtis was the long ago lover involved, and now that there’s a question of paternity, Taggert wants to get that settled NOW. There’s no question that he’s the father that counts, and Trina will always be his daughter whether he created her or not-that’s not the issue.

The issue is this should have been done years ago; who’s to say that Trina might not have some Ashford genetic disease, even if it’s not schizophrenia. He, like Curtis, cannot fathom why Portia didn’t even want to know which man fathered her child, to Marcus, that’s just plain crazy!

GH Spoilers – She Feels Ganged Up On

Curtis, too, as well as Trina, are pressuring her to get this question of Trina’s paternity settled stat – and Portia quite honestly feels ganged up on. She admits that she has postponed it for all these years because she was afraid to find out, but also admits it was stupid, Marcus could be the father. Marcus says even though he’s the father that counts he thinks Trina would be much happier with that result as he would himself. If only this had been done when Trina was little then they wouldn’t be dealing with this devastating situation now and Trina wouldn’t hate her mother. Portia says that Marcus, Curtis, and Trina will all have to give samples and they can get it done at General Hospital.

General Hospital Spoilers – Getting It Over With

According to General Hospital spoilers, Portia realizes there is no sense in procrastinating and whatever the result turns out to be, it can’t make anything worse than it already is. She is still livid with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and her interference, and isn’t real happy with Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) either. Neither of them had any business whatsoever asking Trina a bunch of questions about that genealogy project in high school and putting a bunch of questions in her head.

If they hadn’t interfered, and just let sleeping dogs lie, there probably wouldn’t be the devastation and doubts that they are living in now. She calls the GH lab and schedules the DNA testing right then and there and Marcus will give Trina the date and time, she, Curtis.
