GH Spoilers: T.J. Isn’t Being Honest With Molly — Didn’t He Learn Anything From His Mother?

General Hospital spoilers reveal T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) has fallen head over heels for fatherhood. The only problem is, he’s no one’s daddy. But he wants to be, and the ache and longing he’s been feeling ever since he and Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos) suspected she might be pregnant isn’t going away.

However, T.J. Believes Molly is focused on her career right now — a belief she has allowed him to stick with —- and he doesn’t want to interrupt their happy homeostasis with pressure to have a child. He should have learned better from his mother that secrets never bode well between couples.

General Hospital Spoilers — T.J. Ashford Wants A Baby

T.J. wants a baby, like, yesterday. He has been holding his feelings in as best he can, but he is starting to feel like this isn’t going to work out well for his relationship with Molly if he doesn’t tell her the truth. But how can he do that without making her feel like she has to agree with him, or she’s withholding from him what he really wants to make him happy? That’s all that has ever mattered to Molly, and T.J. thinks it would be unfair to saddle her with the responsibility of having a child with him before she is ready to herself. Of course, he doesn’t know how very ready she is.

T.J. had a front-row seat to his mother, Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper), marriage to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). He saw their relationship fall apart when Jordan kept secrets and didn’t think Curtis deserved to know what was going on in her work life that had bled over into their private life when Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) took T.J. as a hostage. Jordan and Curtis’ marriage didn’t survive, and T.J. and Molly both promised themselves and each other that they would be better than their parents.

The real problem is still lurking beneath the surface. Not only are Molly and T.J. hiding their true feelings from each other about having a child, but Molly won’t come clean with T.J. — or anyone — about her trip to the doctor. If he even knows about it and asks, Molly will have to lie and tell him everything was fine, but in reality, the doctor is going to tell Molly she cannot have children. This will put a real crimp in her plans, and she just may seek to sabotage her relationship with T.J. to martyr herself in setting him free.
