GH Spoilers: Stella Interferes, Worries Over Addict Behavior-Polices Curtis’ Drinking?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) again might interfere in her nephew’s life after Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) confides in her. Marshall saw Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) knocking down one after the other shot of strong liquor, and if he doesn’t know about Curtis’ past addiction problem Stella does!

General Hospital Spoilers – Curtis Ashford Kicked Off Police Force

Years ago, Curtis was a badge carrying police officer but fell into drug addiction. That is why he got kicked off the police force and eventually went into private investigator work before he bought the Savoy. One type of addiction can feed into others, because it’s not the addiction itself but the addict’s personality and ways of coping that’s at fault.

Curtis undoubtedly told N’neka (Arlondriah Lenyéa) about his past problem – unless she has dealt with family members or friends with addictions, and took it upon herself. She called Marshall to come over right away to the club, where he talked to his son but he kept knocking them down; he might talk to Stella.

GH Spoilers – Marshall Ashford Missed So Much Of His Son’s Life

Marshall missed so much of his son’s life, even though he tried to keep up from afar, he’s undoubtedly talked to Stella, and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). He knew about Tommy Ashford’s (uncast character) friendly fire death, Jordan’s affair that produced TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Tommy’s post-traumatic stress disorder. He likely knew about Curtis’ addiction and firing from the police force as well, although if he didn’t, he obviously knew he was having a problem. But he and Stella are family, and family looks out for family and talks about family problems, and Jordan would want to help too, but she’s already “helped” too much. Curtis wouldn’t be real receptive to Jordan, he’s not super receptive to Marshall-he might be to Stella.

General Hospital Spoilers – An Addict Wants To Be Left Alone

In general, an addict who’s returned to their addiction, or other addictive behavior just wants to be left alone in his or her addiction. That is exactly why Stella knows that is why Curtis cannot be left alone, and she intends to make sure he’s not. She can’t force him to stop drinking, nor can she force him into a Narcotics Anonymous or Alcoholics Anonymous group.

But she can dog his steps like the drinking police and show up anywhere he is; he may not like it, but it’s for his own good! She can enlist some cyber help from the younger generation to put a tracker on his cell phone and check up on him on hers.
