GH Spoilers: Stella Helps Curtis With DNA Debacle

General Hospital Spoilers tease Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) may be the missing link that can help her nephew, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), to determine whether or not he is a father. Curtis is itching to know the truth about Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) paternity, but he doesn’t want to push her into something she isn’t ready for.

That being said, he’s ready now, and he also doesn’t know how he feels about moving forward with his new wife, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), in any manner without knowing where things stand with Trina and whose daughter she really is. Curtis has been making the rounds with everyone in his inner circle trying to make sense of Portia’s lie, but his Aunt Stella might have the most answers of all for him.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Curtis went to Trina’s dorm room this week at PCU hoping to talk with her about where they go from here. It appears she doesn’t know any better than he does. Still, Curtis thinks the best course of action is getting a paternity test done so they can know, once and for all, who Trina’s dad is — him, or Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews). Trina isn’t prepared to face that truth just yet, and she made sure to let Curtis know that no matter what her DNA ever says, Marcus is her dad in her heart. Curtis knows that, but he still can’t move forward with such a huge piece of his life floating around unknown.

GH Spoilers Suggest -Stella Henry Hints Around To One Solution

Curtis has made the rounds in his family since finding out the truth about Portia’s secret. He had it out with his new wife on their wedding night, and his father, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) came through for him that evening when Curtis was ready to throw his sobriety away over this. He didn’t waste any time confronting Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) over her involvement, and then he moved on to talking with Trina about where they go from here. However, Curtis still hasn’t confronted his Aunt Stella, and when he does, he’ll be surprised that she might have the remedy to his anxiety.

Stella will clue Curtis in on when she started suspecting something might be amiss with Portia, and how she came to question Jordan about what Portia might have been hiding from Curtis. It wasn’t long before their conversation that Stella was chatting with Trina about the ancestry genealogy website they both used.

Stella had a mystery match, and so did Trina — who confessed she deactivated her account before ever finding out who it was. Is that account still out there, and could Curtis access it with Stella to find out if she and Trina are related? Perhaps, but it comes with the risk of Trina finding out Curtis went behind her back, which would likely make him look just like Portia in Trina’s eyes. Will he do it anyway?
