GH Spoilers: Spencer Won’t Relent Until He Knows How His Father Died

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is going to be floored when someone breaks the news to him that his father, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), is dead. At first, Spencer may not even be willing to accept this as truth. Much like when Mac Scorpio (John J. York) told Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) that his twin brother, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), was dead, Spencer may not believe it until he sees it with his own eyes. After all, Nikolas did pull this card once before and faked his death, only to return to the land of the living four years later expecting forgiveness alongside his fortune. However, once Spencer accepts his new reality, he’s not going to rest until he knows who killed his father. It won’t be as easy of an answer to unearth as he hopes though.

General Hospital Spoilers — It’s Not the Obvious Answer

Right off the bat, Spencer is going to assume his father was taken out by Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). It makes sense that such a psychopath who has been obsessed with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) for years would want to put an end to her husband and have Ava all to himself. However, the police are going to confirm that Nikolas was dead before Ryan ever exited Spring Ridge. This will also mean the killer could not be Heather Webber (Alley Mills), which is going to throw Spencer and his entire family for a loop. Someone killed Nikolas before the known killers ever came to town.

GH Spoilers – Suggest The Line Between Love And Hate Is So Thin

Spencer is going to withdraw from a lot of people around him after he realizes whoever killed his father was likely a personal contact of his. Who could loathe his father so much that they would want him dead? It won’t make sense on its face because he believes that everyone loved his dad, in some capacity, even when they weren’t happy with him. That is going to lead Spencer to start considering that the person who killed his father is indeed someone who did love him. The line between love and hate is so thin, after all.

General Hospital Spoilers — Spencer Cassadine Discovers Ava’s Lie

This storyline will play out for some time, but ultimately, it will be Spencer who zeroes in on Ava’s crumbling relationship with his father at the time of his death. It makes obvious sense that Nikolas turning up dead on the island signals that is where he was killed — and that is Ava’s home now. Any doubts Spencer has in the beginning that Ava could have killed his father are going to be squashed when she makes her next self-serving move that reminds him why he turned against Ava in the first place and never should have made amends with her.
