GH Spoilers: Spencer Will Be Speechless When Trina Tells Him To Choose Esme Over Her

General Hospital (GH) spoilers leak Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is going to be dumbfounded when he hears his girlfriend, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) urge him to couple up with someone else. Trina and Spencer have been dancing around their impending romance for more than a year now, and GH Sprina fans are here for their coming out party.

So it’s going to pain us to see them hit the bricks and table their relationship yet again for the sake of another ploy to manipulate Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Trina means the world to Spencer, but let’s be honest, nothing means more to him than Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) now. If he’s going to gain custody of him, he’ll have to be ruthless and willing to do whatever it takes — even if that means giving up on his romance with Trina.

General Hospital Spoilers — Spencer Cassadine Eyes A Way Into Esme Price’s Mind

Spencer is living with his grandmother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) again, along with Esme and Ace. It’s not the most ideal living situation for a guy with a girl he’s looking to spend time with, but it is the best situation for him to spend time with his baby brother and cement himself in his life. By default, living in such close quarters will lead Esme and Spencer to grow somewhat closer to one another than they ever imagined they would again. As Spencer starts to get to know the new and improved version of his ex, he’s going to notice just how lonely she is, and how much she is craving companionship.

GH Spoilers – Tease Trina Robinson Will Never Go For It

Although Spencer begins to realize his fastest path to gaining access to Ace is by getting Esme to drop her guard against him, he’s not going to mention that to Trina. If he didn’t have a girlfriend, he’d have no problem wooing Esme and playing every card in his arsenal to get her to warm to him long enough for him to snake custody away from her. But he doesn’t have a girlfriend, and his relationship with her is a critical component to his happiness now. He won’t forsake his relationship to play house with Esme in hopes of fooling her into giving up her child.

The happy couple couldn’t get more than a moment alone or space to kiss goodbye without Esme lurking in the hallway and hinting around to having thought Trina already left. That was absolutely Esme’s way of twisting the knife and reminding Trina she was the one leaving and Esme was the one staying behind — with Spencer.

As Esme continues to see Spencer as someone she might like more than a friend, Trina is going to pick up on that. In the interest of speeding this whole process up and getting Esme back behind bars where she belongs, Trina could suggest to Spencer that they stage their break-up and that he should play Esme for the fool that she is in order to position himself as Ace’s guardian in her absence.
