GH Spoilers: Spencer Struggles To Let Go Of Who He Thought Esme Was

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is going to have a tough road ahead as he tries to make sense of what his instincts are telling him as all signs point to it being rather impossible that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) was ever The Hook. He was certain she was guilty of the most heinous crimes he has ever witnessed, and finding out that she’s pregnant has certainly thrown a wrench into his image of who he thought his nefarious ex-girlfriend was.

If she isn’t a maniacal killer, perhaps she’s more of a victim than Spencer realized. While she’s certainly still guilty of framing Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and sleeping with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), she may be the only other person who knows what it feels like to be so victimized by Nikolas, and Spencer could relate to that. He won’t like the soft spot he feels for Esme, but it’s going to be there anyway.

General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Price Isn’t The Hook

Esme cannot feasibly be the person behind The Hook, even though it may not have been her delusional birth mommy, Heather Webber (Alley Mills), all of this time. It’s possible whoever is wielding that deadly fisherman’s tool has had help, and there might be multiple members on the Hook team making it appear as though The Hook is an elusive person who never leaves a trail when really, the trail leads back in several directions to different people.

Regardless, it would appear as though Esme never knew anything about The Hook, nor her own mother’s involvement obviously — since they’ve yet to even meet. Spencer is stunned but trying to wrap his head around the idea that the person he was targeting in his plan to lure The Hook out into the spotlight is still an unknown figure.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Spencer Cassadine Still Feels She’s Hiding Something

Although Esme isn’t behind The Hook killings, that doesn’t mean she’s been up to anything good. She might not be revealing much given that she’s claiming she can’t remember a single thing about her life before she washed up and climbed aboard the Haunted Star, but Spencer can’t shake the feeling that she’s hiding something else — something possibly even bigger than being a hook-wielding psychopath. It’s going to take him time and more visits with her to come to understand what he’s latching onto and picking up on that others aren’t. He does know Esme pretty well, after all.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Truth Is Bigger Than Esme Price’s Parents

On its face, it might seem like the truth Esme is hiding is that her birth father is the notorious Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), but there’s more to it than that. Not only will Esme find out soon that her birth mother is Heather Webber (Alley Mills), but everyone may come to find out Esme was plotting against someone in Port Charles all along, and not because Ryan told her to, but because they played a role in ripping her family apart.

Esme has only briefly hinted at the demise of her adoptive parent’s marriage due to a third party who deserved a “special place in hell.” Is she here to see to it that they arrive there? Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and spoilers to find out.
