GH Spoilers: Spencer Is Updated About Nikolas, How Will He React?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) will be updated about his missing father, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). How will Spencer react to the news that his father’s been alive somewhere in Europe all these months and never reached out-again?

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Was Alive In Pautauk

GH viewers know that Nikolas was alive in Pautauk, staying at Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) house for several months after coming off life support.

It was revealed Austin and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) had removed him from the tack closet on Spoon Island months ago, with Ava Jerome (Maura West) believing him dead.

Ava was not let in on the secret even by Austin, who appears to care for her-it would seem the cousins Gatlin are as duplicitous as the more evil Cassadines!

The rift between father and son started the last time Nikolas “stayed dead” after Valentin Cassadine, (James Patrick Stuart) then known as Theo Hart shot him out of a window.

Nikolas never reached out to any of his family, even once, not even Spencer until he reappeared in Port Charles, and it was several years-apparently now it’s a repeat.

GH Spoilers – It’s Likely Spencer Cassadine Will Hold No Forgiveness For His Father

Nikolas didn’t want anyone except Laura Collins (Genie Francis) to know he’s alive but he didn’t want to make contact, and when Laura updates Spencer he’ll be livid, or apathetic.

The primary thing that will likely be on Spencer’s mind is to ramp up the effort to formally adopt his baby brother Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay).

Even if he has to continue co-parenting with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), and convince her to sign off on it, they’ll both agree that’s better than Nikolas taking him!

Of course, a paper trail from the Swiss bank showing Nikolas is alive could hinder any adoption efforts on Spencer’s part, but he’ll try and prove Nikolas an unfit father.

What kind of father lets his older son think he’s dead twice, and never even make contact to be able to see his younger one-Spencer will think he’s got a case.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Can Stay Gone

As far as Spencer is concerned, Nikolas can stay gone, much to the disappointment of his grandmother Laura.

Laura had been hoping to make peace between father and son before Nikolas disappeared months ago.

It was right after an intense showdown between the two of them, in the General Hospital chapel, no less that Nikolas stomped out of the hospital in a rage.

It was the last time either Laura or Spencer saw him, after he had gone to the lengths of trying to convince Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby) to repress Esme’s memories.

Esme was still in Spring Ridge at the time and very pregnant, and he tried to get her to sign the baby over before he was born-and nothing since; it’s bizarre!
