General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been worried about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). He spies her at a table by herself in the Metro Court and checks up on her.
General Hospital Spoilers – Devane’s Sitting Alone
Anna’s sitting alone, enjoying a glass of red wine when Sonny spots her in a secluded section of the Metro Court, and asks her if this seat is taken. She responds, no, but it is now, and he sits down with her and begins to talk. Sonny tells her he’s glad she’s gotten out of the house and tells her he was worried about her; the last time he saw her, she was a bit off.
Anna admits that she was – but she’s gotten tired of hiding out at home, and eating cereal for dinner. She tells Sonny that she’s not very good in the kitchen, and with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) gone, it’s highly possible she’d starve.
GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Asks About Valentin Cassadine
Sonny notes he’s surprised that Valentin hasn’t returned from his trip yet, especially with what’s going on with her-Anna says she’s fine on her own. She doesn’t need Valentin to protect her; Sonny responds she might not need him, but asks if he knows the WSB is trying to kill her? Prior to the sniper attack at the Metro Court Pool where Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) caught a ricochet bullet, someone had painted “murderer” in red on Anna’s front door. Valentin very nearly abandoned his plans to accompany Kevin and Laura Collins (Jon Lindstrom, Genie Francis) to Chechnya to look for Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). He was already gone by the time of the sniper attack, Anna having convinced him he was worrying too much-but had taken a cell phone photo of the door.
General Hospital Spoilers – The Aftermath Of The Sniper Attack
Valentin had sent the photo of Anna’s door damage to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) before leaving, and she and Anna had a discussion right before the attack. In the aftermath of the sniper attack, Sonny, Anna and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had discussed who the target might have been, and narrowed it down to Sonny or Anna. When Dante and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) had swept the Metro Court Room deemed to be the sniper’s perch they found an attack rifle and traced it to the WSB arsenal.
Later, Anna had broken the crime tape to investigate herself, and it had turned out to be Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) suite used in his absence. The two theories had been either an enemy of Sonny’s or an enemy of Anna’s and the rifle being from the WSB arsenal pinned it down to Anna.
