GH Spoilers: Sonny Saves Dex From Certain Doom

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos And Dex Heller Are Ambushed

After their little dinner date over some chicken piccata, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) worried that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may not trust him because he seemed to be shutting him out of the Pikeman deal. Sonny later confessed to Dex that he wants to trust him so if the Pikeman shipment goes bad, then he will know Dex had nothing to do with it.

Still, Sonny was willing to give Dex a test run at the warehouse to see what his skills were so he took him along on a security check and that’s when Dex saw a gunman. Next week, Dex manages to get Sonny out of the way, but then it is up to Sonny to save Dex’s life and he puts his own life on the line to do it. That might change everything in Dex’s eyes.

“It’s a situation where they have to figure out how they’re going to get out of this together,” Evan Hofer said in the March 20, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “I think his first instinct is to protect people over himself, whether it’s Sonny or otherwise, but I think it’s also a sign of how much he has started to care about Sonny.”

GH Spoilers – Will Dex Heller Betray Michael Corinthos?

Fans have been waiting for the moment when Dex would realize that Michael Corinthos‘ (Chad Duell)little vendetta against his father is beyond stupid and that Sonny is not all good but also not all bad and that time may be coming this week.

When Sonny saves him, Dex starts seeing the mobster in a new light.

“Not only does he save Sonny, but Sonny saves him. And Dex doesn’t take that lightly.”

How will this all work with Dex’s relationship with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)? She has convinced herself that Dex won’t be working for Sonny much longer and they can live happily ever after together. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has tried to give her a wakeup call, and this might just be what Joss needs in order to open up her naive eyes.
