GH Spoilers: Sonny Pushes Pause on Marrying Nina, and Carly Notices

General Hospital (GH) spoilers leak Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is going to put his wedding plans with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) on hold for the time being. After being the target of another sniper, Sonny will come to feel that it may not be safe for Nina to be too close to him right now.

This decision is going to leave Nina feeling less attached to the mobster, and as a result, she’s going to start growing more attached to Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth). The recent sniper attack that caught Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) by surprise has left Sonny worried about the safety of his loved ones. Eddie’s role in all of this is complicated.

On the one hand, he’s a distraction for Nina and provides her with a sense of safety. On the other hand, his disoriented state makes him a liability. Still, it will appeal to Nina that she could finesse this situation better than she was about to with Sonny when he thought he was Mike. Maybe she can ensure Ned never comes back if she embraces Eddie. But can she do that and keep Sonny? Does she want to?

Carly Spencer has always had a complicated relationship with Sonny. While she has moved on with her life and is currently coupled up with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), she still cares for Sonny and his well-being. She knows Sonny well enough to know that he wouldn’t put his wedding plans on hold unless there was a good reason. Carly is missing Drew and is about to be missing $5 Million.
