General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has always been confident in his ability to handle anything that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) throws his way.

Military life trained him well to coast past the sound of a bullet and spot an enemy from a mile away. However, when Dex is tasked with disposing of a dead body – one that Sonny himself was responsible for – Dex is going to start to realize that his job comes with some unexpected and unwanted responsibilities.

As he begins to question who he’s really working for, Dex must decide if he’s tough enough to handle the gruesome tasks that may be asked of him. Will he be able to stomach the true nature of his job, or will he be forced to choose a different path?

Dex’s job has never been easy, especially since he stumbled upon a dead body in the last case. But rumor has it that things are about to get even more complicated for him. This time around, he’ll have to deal with the aftermath of a murder that his boss may have ordered.

The pressure will be on for Dex to cover up the evidence and make sure nobody knows what really happened. It’s a situation that’s hard enough for any person, but even harder if the victim is someone that Dex knows.

Although, with his experience, he is sure to put his best foot forward and get the job done — even if it leaves him in shambles on the inside. Is Sonny training him to be as stone-cold as Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was? It sure looks like it.

Dex will find himself in unfamiliar territory when he is instructed to dispose of someone’s remains. Although Sonny is aware of this, he wants to see if Dex has what it takes to handle this kind of work without being weighed down by his own emotions.

The don will test Dex’s courage and trauma threshold to determine if he’s capable of enduring this kind of work. Pushing Dex’s buttons is an essential technique to ascertain his level of comfort before advancing his role in the business.

However, the whole experience will leave Dex feeling unsure about dedicating his life to disposing of other people’s problems. It’s a new reality that he will have to face, where he needs to figure out not only his limits and comfort level but also if he’s really cut out for this kind of job.

Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) tried to save Dex from getting in too deep with Sonny’s business. With Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) acting as a middleman, Dex thought he was in the clear from any real harm.

However, when it seems like Sonny may have walked right into a trap, Dex will have to turn to Michael for assistance, which is not a path they had intended to tread.

It’s clear that Joss’ instincts were spot on and we know she won’t be afraid to speak up about that. But it remains to be seen how Dex and Michael will navigate this new problem, especially as it’ll leave blood on Michael’s hands, too.
