GH Spoilers: Sonny Goes Dark After Michael’s Betrayal

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may make up thanks to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). However, Sonny will have a very hard time forgiving his son. Could Sonny turn dark after being betrayed by the child who always wanted to be like him?

General Hospital spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Wanted Better For Michael Corinthos

General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny has always worked hard to keep Michael away from the mob life. However, Michael has known about the business for years. Michael even tried to get Sonny to let him into the business years ago and Sonny refused. Michael’s misplaced outrage over the business is a bit over the top now.

To use the business that supported his family for years is ridiculous. Michael’s feelings were hurt and he is acting worse than he did as a child when he wanted someone removed from his father’s life. Isn’t this grown man the same guy that tried to pay off people to stay out of his father’s life? The same kid that ran away and was almost killed and even ended up shooting one of Sonny’s girlfriends?

GH Spoilers – At Least Michael Corinthos Is Speaking Now

Sonny is making a little bit of progress since Michael is at least taking his phone calls. Unfortunately, it seems that Michael doesn’t see his father as human at all. Michael has also experienced the changes that occur when someone almost dies but cannot understand his father’s reaction. In reality, Michael is always used to his parents reuniting and he cannot understand why that didn’t happen this time.

Of course, Michael’s attitude may have actually helped to keep his parents apart. Michael and Carly kept pushing Sonny instead of allowing him to work through his feelings. If Sonny had been given a little time, he would have probably reunited with Carly. Sonny was essentially pushed into Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) arms because his personality had changed.

General Hospital spoilers  – Will Sonny Corinthos Turn Full Villain?

Sonny has been known for years as the mobster with a heart. However, after learning of his son’s betrayal, Sonny could turn a full villain. If Michael wants to put him away on Reco violations, Sonny could decide to give him some real violations to use. Sonny is bending over backward to help his ungrateful son and to what end?

Sonny could rightfully decide that he doesn’t want to reconcile with Michael after all of them and go after Michael himself. After all, didn’t Michael and Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) recently participate in insider trading? Perhaps Michael deserves a dose of his own medicine and maybe he wouldn’t be so judgmental if he got caught up in his own mess. Sonny could be darker than ever before.
