GH Spoilers: Sonny And Drew Team Up, Rescue Carly From Cyrus?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may team up to rescue Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) from Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Cyrus is done using Ava Jerome (Maura West) for leverage, now that he’s gotten his compassionate release thanks to Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth).

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Exploits Peoples’ Weak Spots

Cyrus’ modus operandi, or “MO” in cop-speak, is to exploit peoples’ weak spots to get them to cooperate-that’s why he got Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) to kidnap Ava.

That way Austin, who cared about Ava, would do whatever Cyrus wanted to keep her safe.

Carly may be the one in grave danger since she’s so closely connected to both Sonny and Drew-and he thinks Drew owes him since he called for help.

Cyrus had been the one who found Drew beaten near death in the prison shower; even though Drew owes him nothing-Drew saved his life when he had his heart attack!

But Cyrus doesn’t think that way, even though he and Drew are now even, having saved each other’s lives.

GH Spoilers – Drew Cain Won’t Help Cyrus Renault Willingly

Drew won’t help Cyrus willingly, and since Carly and Drew are involved, that could mean Cyrus will use Carly to make Drew cooperate like he used Ava to make Austin cooperate.

Family is very important to Sonny as well, and Cyrus knows it-Carly, as the mother of two of Sonny’s children is family even though they’re divorced and Sonny’s remarried.

Cyrus could figure he’ll get a two for one leverage deal if he kidnaps Carly, getting both Drew and Sonny to do his bidding.

Cyrus was fully mobbed up when he first hit Port Charles, and wanted to take over Sonny’s territory back then, although now he claims to be a changed man.

Drew, as a Navy Seal likely knows well the saying there aren’t any atheists in foxholes, and Cyrus’ “redemption” was only a reaction to his life having been in danger.

General Hospital Spoilers – Protection Detail, Or Rescue Squad?

The kidnapping of Ava was so stealthily done that no one could have predicted it-and a kidnapping of Carly would as well, evading any protection detail.

Cyrus won’t give a clue that he’s poised to kidnap her, and he’ll have someone else do his dirty work anyway-just because Mason’s gone doesn’t mean he doesn’t still have thugs!

It wouldn’t matter if Sonny put Carly and the whole family in a safe house, Cyrus would find it and if he didn’t find it himself, he’d know someone who could.

Depending on when the kidnapping would take place, Drew and Sonny could either team up as a protection detail or a rescue squad, Sonny likely having Cyrus himself tailed!

So, if Cyrus has a henchman kidnap Carly, they might be clueless as to where to find her-and Cyrus will have leverage over Sonny and Drew.
