GH Spoilers: Sonny And Anna’s Dinner Opened The Door — But To What?

General Hospital Spoilers leak Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) are both in committed relationships that they want to last.

Sonny is truly planning to marry Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) this coming February. Anna is terrified that as she keeps digging for the truth, she’s going to find out Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will be entangled with whoever is trying to ruin her life — and potentially end it.

Neither Anna nor Sonny might see it right now, but their continued palling around and time together discussing strategy just may turn into something more soon.

General Hospital Spoilers — A Chance Encounter

Fans noticed when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) bumped into Sonny and Anna at the Metro Court a few weeks back.

Enjoying an evening on the terrace, they were surprised to see Dante there but also made sure to let him know they hadn’t arranged that meeting together.

Rather, Anna and Sonny had run into each other there as well. Still, GH writers made sure we knew how Dante felt.

It was unusual to stumble upon his dad with Anna, while discussing the details of the case he thought he was working on with them. Was this foreshadowing of suspicions yet to arise for Dante?

GH Spoilers – Claim They’ve Moved On To Planned Meetings

More suspicion was thrown into the fire when we saw Sonny sit down with Anna over a dinner he had prepared for her at his restaurant last week.

While it’s not unusual for Sonny to entertain a guest — and he often uses his restaurant as cover because he knows it’s a safe place to speak freely — it’s still not the norm for him to entertain another female dinner guest, much less prepare a meal for them himself.

Anna and Sonny didn’t just enjoy Chicken Parmesan that night. The laughter and chatter going back-and-forth across the table was clear to every viewer watching. Just what is starting to take shape between these two?

General Hospital Spoilers — Just Friends?

Nina is the queen of paranoia, and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if she began to grow suspicious as well about Sonny’s entanglement with Anna.

Nina has never really had a relationship with Anna; however, she was immensely grateful for Anna‘s help in getting Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) back to Port Charles in time to save Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) life.

In other words, Anna is nothing short of a hero in Nina’s eyes. That could change as Anna starts to spend more time with Nina’s fiancé.

Meanwhile, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is so embroiled in his own secrets with Pikeman that he may not notice his girlfriend’s budding secret with Sonny.
