GH Spoilers: Some Fans Questioning Why Kelly Monaco Hasn’t Posted About Co-Star Billy Miller’s Death

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the soap world is in mourning over the passing of Billy Miller at the age 43, just two days prior to his birthday which would have been on September 17.

As news of his death spread this week, many fans and colleagues of the daytime drama great took to social media to share their thoughts and feelings. AmoMama reports that some fans are talking online about why his GH costar Kelly Monaco has not posted anything about Miller’s death.

Miller’s GH costar Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) posted this heartfelt tribute to Miller: “My experience with Billy personally & while acting with him, was that truth mattered to him.

Bipolar depression is real. Access to care & treatment for mental health issues remains problematic in US. I commend Billy’s mom for sharing his truth. It matters. He mattered.”

Miller died in Austin, Texas and his mother confirmed his death with this post: “He did everything he could to control the (bipolar) disease.

He loved his family, his friends and his fans but in the end the disease won the fight and he surrendered his life. The other causes of death being told are not true.”

Miller was a superstar, earning three Daytime Emmys for his role as Billy Abbott on CBS’s “The Young and the Restless.” He later joined General Hospital where he starred as Drew Cain in nearly 500 episodes.

The outlet notes that “As co-stars, Monaco and Miller shared a great relationship that blossomed into a close friendship.

From posts of the two of them going to lunch and sharing a kiss in Monaco’s dressing room to celebrating Miller’s 40th birthday together, there was a lot of speculation about the two sharing a romantic connection when Miller was still alive.”

When Miller joined the ABC sudser, Monaco gave an interview in which she said “I was like, ‘Thank you! Thank you for the blessings, Soap Gods!’…I just felt something from him as Billy…”

Along with the online criticism of Monaco, many fans defended her with one poster saying “Omg what is wrong with these people? Leave Kelly Monaco alone! Let her grieve in peace…”
