GH Spoilers: Selina Takes Sasha Hostage — And Cody Fights Off Gladys To Save Her

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that when it comes to facing trauma, Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) knows a thing or two. She has had to navigate through some pretty unthinkable horrors during the last year and a half. Now, just as she seems to be getting back on track, she’s going to be hit with another blow.

General Hospital Spoilers —Selina Wu kidnapping Gladys Corbin

This time, it will be Selina Wu (Lydia Look) kidnapping her. The situation between Selina and Sasha’s mother-in-law — Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) — has taken a turn for the worse. Gladys is now in a much deeper hole of debt to the mobstress than she was before, and Selina is determined to collect what she’s owed.

The first time Gladys got in over her head with the mob, she exchanged Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) beloved garage to pay off her debts without any remorse — and without so much as a conversation with Sasha about it.

With Sasha eager to take back control of her finances, Gladys will be at Selina’s mercy when she suggests the kidnapping as a means of extorting a ransom from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to square off Gladys’ debt. But Sonny won’t be the only one coming to Sasha’s aid.

General Hospital Spoilers — Gladys Corbin Facilitates The Kidnapping

Gladys is going to be in a tight spot. She knows she needs to pay up — and she still owes Selina over $80,000. She’s been hesitant to take that cash from Sasha’s bank account, knowing it would eventually draw attention and lead to questions about what happened to it.

However, she’s running out of time to figure something else out as Sasha is keen to steer her own ship again and let Gladys loose as her legal guardian.

So when Selina presents the idea that they stage a kidnapping and demand a ransom, Gladys will bite, knowing that Sonny will pay whatever it takes to get Sasha back.

GH Spoilers – Hint Cody Bell Tells All

Cody isn’t going to like the sound of this kidnapping when he first hears about it. While everyone else will be worried about Sasha’s wellbeing, Cody won’t be able to shake the feeling that Gladys is somehow involved.

Her worry for her daughter-in-law doesn’t seem authentic to Cody. He’s seen her act this way before, and she’s not good at bluffing — so says he long trail of debts as she slinks away from the poker table.

Cody has been keeping his lips sealed about Selina’s card games at The Savoy. It’s illegal, for one, but for two, he doesn’t want to lose his seat at the table.

That’s about to change, though. He can’t let Sasha suffer for his mistakes — or Gladys’. When Cody goes to Sonny with what he suspects is the truth, all hell will break loose.

Sonny knew something was amiss when Selina bought that garage from Gladys, but moreover, when Gladys failed to even discuss it with Sasha. He didn’t like the idea of his family doing business with a fellow mobster anyway, and he knows the angles Selina works.

He keeps her close, but he knows she’s not the ally she claims to be. When Cody tells Sonny that Gladys has been squandering away Sasha’s personal fortune ever since she got a hold of her checkbook, Sonny is going to be furious — and he’ll stop at nothing to get Sasha back while also making sure Gladys pays.
