General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) return to Port Charles will rock the little town.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will be relieved that her son is okay, while Ava Jerome (Maura West) will likely have mixed feelings, and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will worry about what this all means for his baby brother Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).

However, how will Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) react?

GH spoilers suggest that Esme could be completely caught off guard when she sees her baby daddy for the first time, in a long time.

Many have felt it’s been completely unfair how Esme hasn’t been punished for all the chaos she caused before becoming a mom.

After all, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) almost faced prison time for the “viral video” debacle, a crime that Esme set her up for; a crime she did not commit.

Then, there was also terrorizing Ava when she set her car on fire and left her dead daughter Kiki Jerome’s (Hayley Erin) ID behind.

Still, how can someone be punished for crimes they don’t remember committing? What’s the rehabilitation in that?

As it stands, Esme currently has amnesia, and while some viewers feel she may be faking it, there’s been no confirmation about whether or not she is.

Nikolas held Ms. Prince hostage for a long while, and escaping Wyndemere was what set her “amnesia” in motion. This was a very traumatic time in Ms. Prince’s life.

Cassadine will likely re-appear on the show very soon, and the two will eventually meet once again. As Nik was her captor, could “seeing” him “trigger” memories for Esme?

After all, she was quite shaken by being held against her will, and almost died trying to escape.

The interesting thing about Esme potentially “remembering” is that she has a lot to lose if she comes forward. If her memories do come back, will she continue the charade or tell the truth?
