GH Spoilers: Scott Opens Up To Laura, Gets Out His Heartbreak Over Liesl’s Rejection?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will open up to Laura Collins (Genie Francis). It’s a good chance he’ll get out his heartbreak over Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) rejection, and maybe ask advice on changing her mind.

General Hospital Spoilers – He Was Dumped Over Helping Elizabeth Baldwin

Scotty was dumped over helping Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) who had known that Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) wasn’t the Hook after an attack took place when she was captive.

Liesl was outraged that Scott would defend Elizabeth, because if she’d have gone to the police with what she knew the police would have been looking for someone else. Liesl said Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) wouldn’t have died if Elizabeth had only been truthful, even though Esmé was only a person of interest.

Liesl, in her grief, is naturally looking for someone to blame-although eventually Britt would have died of her Huntington’s Disease anyway. If she hadn’t have gotten scratched by the hook, Liesl wouldn’t have even had a goodbye-Britt was planning on leaving town without a trace with a new identity.

GH Spoilers – Laura Collins Wisely Sees Both Sides Of The Story

Laura wisely sees both sides of the story, even though she is partial to Elizabeth because of their history and understands why she did what she did. Laura has had to deal with the grief of a dead child, although later she was livid when Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) returned alive after faking his death.

She understands Liesl’s grief, but at the same time, she doesn’t think she’s being fair to Scotty or Elizabeth, not understanding the whole situation. But she can see Scotty’s pain – he’s become a much deeper person than he was when he was when they were married the first time and he lost her. Scott reacted in anger more than pain when he lost her to Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) in their twenties.

General Hospital Spoilers – Give Her Some Time And Space, Be Patient

Laura tells Scotty to give Liesl some time and space, and be patient-Scott’s aware that Liesl is planning to donate bone marrow to save Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) life. Perhaps when that is successful it will be therapeutic for Liesl too, since she said if she couldn’t save Britt, perhaps she could save Willow.

Scott knows he probably shouldn’t have technically talked about someone’s health issues, but it’s kind of all in the extended family, with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) being Luke’s grandnephew.

Maybe once Willow is out of the woods then Liesl will reconsider their relationship and be ready to make amends. Scott is a much more patient man than he was in his twenties.
