GH Spoilers: Scott Catches Up With Cody Regarding The WSB Lawsuit, Suing WSB

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) catches up with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) regarding the WSB lawsuit. Scott is trying to help Cody sue the WSB to recover damages from the destroyed Ice Princess necklace in lieu of an inheritance, and has paperwork for him to sign.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Ice Princess Necklace Originally Belonged To Dominque Stanton

The Ice Princess necklace originally belonged to Cody’s birth mother, and Scotty’s late wife Dominique Stanton (Shell Danielson) who was also Serena Baldwin’s (Carly Schroeder) mother. But through the dirty tricks of Dominque’s abusive husband at the time, Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia) who belonged to the cartel, it disappeared.

It eventually wound up with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) who’d inherited it from Peter August (Wes Ramsey), likely having been stolen from Taub by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

With the destruction of the Haunted Star by drone strike, killing Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) who had the necklace on board, Scott decided to sue for damages. Cody had agreed to split the monetary damages between himself and Serena.

GH Spoilers – Paperwork Needs Signature

Scott catches up with Cody, who’s sunning himself in a lounge chair at the Metro Court pool, he needs an affidavit signed so he can finally file it at the courthouse. Then they can get down to business with the WSB-Cody seems half asleep as he says right, may have business.

Scott says yes, and as he knows, the WSB doesn’t like to have their cage rattled and they’re probably going to play hardball. Cody then perks up and asks, “well-hardball-are you saying that they’re going to be investigating me?”-Scott sighs, seeing he’s going to have to spell it out to the yokel.

Scott then proceeds to explain what the WSB is and what they do, and what they will expect from Cody.

General Hospital Spoilers – Is An Investigation Going To Be A Problem?

Scott asks if Cody knows what the “S” in “WSB” means – it means “security”, Cody says “ok, yeah, no, I didn’t know that”. Scott proceeds to further educate Cody about the WSB, and tells him like most agencies, they thrive on intel, that’s their bread and butter.

Then he asks if that is going to be a problem-and Cody starts looking worried, thinking about the things the WSB could find out about him.

Among other things, the WSB could easily find out that Leopold Taub wasn’t his birth father, and since Taub was the last legal owner of record he’d have to be.

There’s a possibility they could even get a warrant for the paternity test he took with Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Mac would find out Cody lied about the results!
