GH Spoilers: Sasha’s Trust in Dr. Montague Will Blow Back in Her Face as She Heads to Rehab Soon

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) is about to tailspin her way back to rehab. This is the last thing that Sasha or anyone close to her expected — except for her mother-in-law, of course. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) may be the first person to show any real concern about Sasha’s new prescription. But what is the Face of Deception supposed to do? Her doctor prescribed it for her, asserting that he had every confidence she was ready for this step in her treatment.

Thus, Sasha is inclined to believe him. After all, he is the medical professional, not her. But when Maxie lets it slip to someone else, Sasha is using a very habit-forming medication, perhaps that someone else will do some digging

General Hospital Spoilers — Sasha Spirals Quickly

Maxie’s initial concerns are going to be swept to the side. She won’t have any real basis for being concerned about Sasha, who has proven she can stay away from drugs, and stay in recovery. But that recovery is far easier to stick with when one isn’t using an addictive drug – even as a medicine.

When Sasha starts showing signs that she has become independent on her medication, or possibly abusing it, Maxie is going to reach out for help.

GH Spoilers Hint Cody Picks Up the Pieces and Wipes the Floor with Gladys

Obviously, Maxie’s first step, and helping, Sasha will be to reach out to her mother-in-law, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). Maxie knows very well what it looks like when Sasha is in trouble and using drugs. So she will be alarmed when Gladys dismisses her concerns and tells her to butt out of Sasha’s business.

Gladys may even bolster her relationship with Sasha — who will grow to wish that everyone would leave her alone because she knows she’s using — by having her back and insisting that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and the others cut her some slack. Enter Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).

Cody is the perfect person for Maxie to run to with her concerns. He may be off the hook for that crime Gladys tried to frame him for, but that doesn’t mean he’s forgiven her. Now, given the opportunity to stick it to Gladys, while helping, Sasha, Cody will jump at the chance to pitch in.

Ultimately, it is suspected that Sasha will need to go back to rehab. This probably will lead to her awareness that Gladys betrayed her. However, a therapy she will receive in rehab may help her to find a kind of forgiveness in her heart that Cody is not capable of.

Regardless, Gladys will be out as Sasha’s legal guardian, and Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder) may be out as a doctor. Cody, however, might find himself settling into a new place, and Sasha’s heart.
