GH Spoilers: Sasha Learns the Truth About Gladys’ Spending Habits — How Can This Possibly Work Out?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) has been biding her time and waiting for a judge to grant her control over her own life again. A few months back, Sasha was left with no recourse but to allow her mother-in-law, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) to act as her legal guardian until a court ruled otherwise.

It’s been a rocky road, but Sasha has mostly believed Gladys has good intentions and wants to look out for her. She assumed Gladys was taking her role as the guardian of Sasha’s fortune seriously. Instead, it seems Gladys has been squandering it away behind Sasha’s back. When her daughter-in-law finds out what she has done, all hell is going to break loose.

It won’t be long now before Sasha is back in the courtroom going before a judge and asking to be put back in control of her own life and money. She has healed a great deal since her husband, Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) passing, which came less than a year after the death of their newborn son, Liam Mike. Sasha is ready to move forward with her life and has been able to find joy and balance again. She is grateful to Gladys for stepping in when she needed her, but there is no evidence that points to such a need existing anymore.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Gladys Corbin Stifles Her Chances

Going before a judge means Gladys is also likely to be present, and it’s probable that the judge will ask for her opinion as to whether Sasha should be entrusted to be in control of her own legal affairs again. It is going to stun Sasha when Gladys tells the judge she doesn’t think Sasha is ready, and further, that she may make up some evidence — under oath — that doesn’t exist.

When Gladys attests to Sasha’s emotional state still being unstable, it’s going to give the judge pause and likely lead them to decide it’s still not the right time for Sasha to recoup control of her finances. This is going to set Sasha on a warpath and lead her to wonder why her mother-in-law wants to control her life.

When Sasha needs someone to vent to, it’ll be convenient that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is available to meet her needs. Cody is starting to turn a corner, and we’ve been seeing him move away from the shifty and shady character he was when he came to town, and grow into a more reliable and honest man. When Sasha tells him what happened and how Gladys turned on her, Cody just might tell her the truth about what he knows — and how he knows Gladys.
