GH Spoilers: Roger Howarth And Kassie DePaiva’s Soaptacular Reunion

General Hospital (GH) spoilers show that former One Life to Live actress Kassie DePaiva has brought her alter ego Blair Cramer to Port Charles at the same time her former co-star Roger Howarth is in a front burner storyline.

The two actors were involved onscreen as Blair and Todd Manning and today Howarth stars as Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt on the ABC sudser.

Naturally fans were looking forward to a meet-up of the two current-day GH characters, and while that hasn’t happened onscreen, the two colleagues were delighted to meet again behind the scenes.

Right now Austin is involved with Ava Jerome (Maura West) so a romance with Blair is not in the cards. DePaiva appeared on the September 15 episode as the fiery ex-wife of Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).

In interviews DePaiva indicated that she was thrilled to come back to GH and she had nothing but positive things to say about Howarth.

DePaiva told Soap Opera Digest that she and Howarth have kept in touch over the years and she was thrilled when they reconnected on the set.

She added that Howarth “texted me when I was sick with leukemia, and we’d talked during the first year or so of Covid because somebody asked him to send me a birthday wish on Cameo.” DePaiva dealt with leukemia in 2016, and later battled breast cancer. Thankfully she is now cancer-free.

Cameo is a site where fans can buy personalized messages from celebrities. Howarth is on the platform and donates his proceeds to Feeding America.

About their recent reunion on set, she said “Seeing him again was wonderful, and I’m glad we took pictures!”

There is no word yet on if or when the two actors interact as their former OLTL characters. Blair and Todd were two of daytime’s most infamous duos, and each played remarkable characters in their own right.
