His first night in town turned out to be more eventful than he could have expected. Instead of catching up with his sister over dinner, Zeke found himself drawn to the sleek and sophisticated Metro Court bar. And it was there, sitting at the bar, that he met Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) .
She might have been a stranger, but there was something about her that caught his attention. They talked for hours, lost in conversation until the night had long since turned to morning. Zeke may not have expected to find love in Port Charles, but it seems like fate had other plans.
Jordan might have been nursing a broken heart when Zeke came along, but she didn’t let that stop her from indulging in a little flirtation — and then some.
It was just meant to be one night, nothing serious. But as the chemistry between is expected to deepen, Jordan will be left wondering if this could actually turn into something more. However, Zeke is about to learn some information that could potentially make him reconsider his interest in her. How will he manage his sister’s opinion when she boasts how great Jordan is?
The first moment Portia laid eyes on Zeke getting off the elevator, she was thrilled and stunned to see her brother in her neck of the woods. Within a few minutes of conversation between siblings, she had to do very little to convince him to help her pull Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) away from Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) clutches.
Relief washed over Portia as she recalled what it felt like to have someone in her corner, something she hasn’t experienced as of late — with only herself to blame for that. Zeke promised he would always be on Portia’s side. Can he really renege on that promise already?
When Zeke found Jordan at the bar, he tried to lay on the charm thick, but she was having none of it. Jordan tried to hide from her own feelings, but Zeke said all the right things to make her forget the pain for a night — and he listened. Still, her marriage had ended and the wound was still fresh.
When Zeke asked her what was wrong, Jordan let out a little truth bomb: she had kissed her ex-husband and felt a pang of guilt mixed with love. Zeke, ever the charmer, listened to her and offered her a new perspective on her situation. It wasn’t long before Jordan was laughing and enjoying the night again. One thing led to another and these two ended up between the sheets. But when Zeke learns that the ex-husband she kissed is none other than his brother-in-law, it’s going to leave him in a pretty uncomfortable position.
Jordan really didn’t have much loyalty at play in this equation. She wasn’t married to Portia — Curtis was. So why was his brother-in-law playing the field and entertaining a romance with his ex when he was leading Portia to believe he was only mulling over his feelings for his wife?
As it turns out, Curtis has some pretty conflicting feelings about his ex-wife, too. It’s not going to help anyone involved for Zeke to put pressure on Jordan to tell the truth, but he won’t hesitate to tell Curtis to man up and come clean to his wife. Doesn’t Portia deserve to know she’s actually competing for his affection? Zeke might think so, but when Curtis is forced to tell Portia what happened, she might resent Zeke for getting involved at all. Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and spoilers just ahead.
