GH Spoilers: Portia Taps Into Her Dark Side To “Protect” The Ones She Loves

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest fans need to brace themselves for some unexpected events. Overall, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has never been a “bad” character. Sure, she hid Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) true paternity for decades, but even good people make terrible choices in the land of soaps.

Still, in recent months, Portia has not been acting like herself. In fact, she’s been downright nasty to some fellow Port Charlians in the little town. Will she eventually tap into her “dark” side to protect her family?

General Hospital Spoilers  – A Lot Of Fans Have Been Raising An Eyebrow

GH spoilers state that Portia could be acting in fear. After all, these hints of nastiness have seeped through after Trina came back from Greenland when she was (kind of) kidnapped by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).

Portia seems deadest against her daughter’s relationship with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez); however, as she’s an adult, there’s not much she can do.

Sadly, Portia has tried convincing Spence to stay away from Trina, which worked for a moment but hasn’t been overly successful.

She’s also tried to encourage Spence to spend more time with Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) and Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), which hasn’t exactly worked to break up his relationship with her daughter.

Still, Trina is only one piece of Portia’s world. Since Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) got shot, Ms. Robinson hasn’t been too nice to Anna Devane (Finola Huges), which she apologized for, and is keeping Curtis away from his friend, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Has trauma changed Portia?

GH Spoilers – Will She End Up Doing More Drastic Things?

Portia’s done some awful things as of late, but by soap opera standards, they haven’t been that bad.

Keeping Curtis away from Sonny, without him knowing it, isn’t bad considering that Ashford got shot the last time he was in the vicinity of the mob boss; she did say sorry for being nasty to Anna; and he hasn’t crossed a line against Trina and Spencer … yet!

But Portia may continue to push the envelope and find herself getting more desperate; therefore, doing more drastic things.

As Curtis is vulnerable in a wheelchair, she’ll be able to get away with more than he’ll be aware of.
