GH Spoilers: Portia Loses Her Mind After Trina’s Pregnancy Scare

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dr. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) already hates the fact that her daughter, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is involved with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).

Portia was unrelenting in her desire to keep Spencer and Trina far apart. She has even gone as far as to befriend Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), subtly encouraging the new mother to leave town in the hopes that Spencer will go with her.

No matter what Spencer does to try to win Portia over, the overprotective mom just isn’t having it. She has tried more than once to convince Trina that Spencer is no good for her.

While Trina has tried to be respectful of Portia’s feelings, the truth of the matter is that she is in love with Spencer.

Portia only found out about the young couple’s plan for a romantic weekend in New York City through Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Trina chose to confide in Curtis instead of her own mother.

Although they almost had to cancel their plans, Spencer and Trina finally made their way to NYC. Spencer pulled out all the stops to give Trina a magical experience. They took in a Broadway play, and ate at a fancy restaurant.

Trina was certainly swept off her feet and at the end of the night, they pair finally made love. Trina and Spencer had finally been waiting for the right moment and they knew the time was right to consummate their relationship.

Although they were certainly careful, that doesn’t mean that Trina wouldn’t end up pregnant. Although it seems unlikely, there is every possibility that Trina’s period could come late. Trina would certainly freak out at the possibility but that is nothing compared to how Portia will react.

She will be upset enough to learn the duo had sex but the thought that Trina could be pregnant will likely send Portia off the rails. If she hadn’t tried hard enough before, look for Portia to make it her mission to separate Trina and Spencer forever!
