GH Spoilers: Portia Can’t Lure Spencer Out of Town, But She Can Help Draw Him Closer to Esme

General Hospital (GH) spoilers say Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is eager to pull her daughter, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), away from Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). She’s willing to do almost whatever it takes to make this happen, and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) really looks like her best way into Spencer’s life without anyone knowing any better. Esme has come to trust Portia as a doctor, but will she take her advice in other areas of life? Perhaps, if it suits what she wants in the first place.

Unfortunately, Trina is about to give her mom an inside look at her deepest insecurities, and it’ll help her ensure Esme plays right into her hands.

General Hospital Spoilers — Trina is Territorial

Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina might be overheard discussing a potentially troubling situation concerning Spencer, and the possibility of another woman. That would be Esme. She’s getting in the way and Trina doesn’t like it one bit, but she doesn’t know what to do about it.

Well, it just so happens that Portia does. Portia will get an earful eavesdropping on the girls’ conversation, but when Trina opens up to her mom just enough to let her know she shares Joss’ concerns, Portia will spring into action.

GH Spoilers Tease Portia Sees a Way In

Portia will see this as an opportunity to offer some friendly advice to Esme, suggesting that more parenting classes could be a great way for her and Spencer to bond.

Only time will tell if their relationship evolves beyond co-parenting, but Portia has a sneaking suspicion that Esme isn’t the only person in this pair who is feeling more than friendship between them.

Will more one-on-one time with Spencer where Trina isn’t a factor add up to their relationship evolving into something of more substance? Portia can only hope!

Portia’s latest plan may not end up being the best decision she’s ever made. If Trina gets wind of her mother’s latest manipulations, their relationship may never recover. On the other hand, Trina might not be warm to the implication that her mother would meddle the way that Spencer might suggest she is.

Portia’s lies have already created a rift between them, and this latest scheme could be the final straw. Losing Trina would be devastating for Portia, and could cause her to lose everyone else in her life as well. Marcus Taggert tried to warn her against meddling in her daughter’s love life, but Portia just couldn’t resist.
