GH Spoilers: Olivia Rips Into Nina For Ned’s Predicament, The Gloves Are Off!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Olivia Quartermaine is beside herself following her husband Ned Quartermaine’s head injury and subsequent amnesia. Longtime fans will remember his “Eddie Maine” days from decades past, when he had fun being a rock ‘n roller.

Eddie is once again back, but this is because Ned can’t remember who he is following a slip and fall into the pool. There is one person behind the calamity, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)!

Nina was the one who turned Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in to the SEC for insider trading. Everyone assumed it was Ned who did the deed, and Olivia was the only one who came around to say she believed in his innocence.

Lisa LoCicero told Soap Opera Digest “In my mind, she was not 100 percent sure that he didn’t do it, but she was going to support him anyway.”

She added “That was a choice that she made, maybe without 100 percent faith in him. Her love for him made her choose that. And that was a very difficult conversation for her to have with Carly, but what else could she do?”

GH spoilers: Olivia’s Love for Ned

Olivia isn’t crazy about troublemaker Nina, yet they manage to run the Metro Court together. Fans know that Olivia is passionate about her loved ones and would do anything for them. The truth will eventually come out that it was Nina who called the SEC and let Ned take the blame for it.

Ned overheard Nina and her attorney Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) talking about her guilt and ran to the pool area to spill the beans to Drew. Before he could do so he tripped on a pile of towels and landed in the pool and Drew rushed in to save him.

Of the eventual big reveal, LoCicero stated “Oh yeah, I assume that’s coming. I mean, I assume that somewhere down the line, we’re all going to find out that Nina was behind that [call to the SEC]. That should be some good stuff, too. If Carly and Olivia and Sonny are all pissed off at her, she’s gonna be in big trouble!”

Right now Nina’s main concern is how her fiancé Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will react if she’s exposed. But maybe she should be more concerned about Olivia who will no doubt go for the jugular while Sonny will just drop her like a ton of bricks!
