GH Spoilers: Olivia Distraught, Prays for Husband, As Ned News Delayed

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) prays while news on Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) delays. She and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) stand outside the door to the intensive care unit while TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) assesses Ned’s injuries and condition.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ned Quartermaine Was Brought In Unconscious

Ned was brought in unconscious after tripping on towels and falling into the Metro Court pool, hitting his head on the concrete perimeter on his way down.

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) had been having a conversation with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) when Ned came running after confronting Nina Reeves, (Cynthia Watros) who he’d overheard was the whistleblower.

Drew immediately dove in the pool to save Ned, who wasn’t breathing when he first was pulled out of the pool and didn’t have a pulse.

Drew continued CPR on Ned until the rescue squad from GH arrived and the paramedics took over. Now, as he’s being assessed in the ICU by TJ, Olivia is in the waiting room clutching her rosary and crying, and praying.

GH Spoilers – Olivia Quartermaine Continues To Cry And Pray

Olivia continues reciting a prayer used by Roman Catholics during great times of distress, such as Ned and his family are in, not knowing if he will survive. It’s obvious that Olivia is in a great deal of distress, and as Brook Lynn walks over, she asks if she’s okay.

Olivia tells Brook Lynn when she was a little girl growing up in Bensonhurst, she always remembers all the grandmas and great aunts pulling out their rosaries in times of crisis. She swore that she would never be that old fashioned old lady, but then she got old-looking down at her rosary beads in her hands.

Brook Lynn laughs about her “being old” and Olivia continues, and says she realizes how scary life can be and now she’s grateful for her rosaries, prayers and faith-it comforts her.

General Hospital Spoilers – Olivia Quartermaine’s Crisis Of Faith

Brook Lynn asks her why she stopped praying, and she says she’s been praying all night but doesn’t feel like God is listening; Brook Lynn tries to encourage her.

She says if God listens to anyone, it’s her-Olivia, frustrated, asks then why is there no news about her dad, and looks up and asks God for a sign. Just then, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) approaches with coffee or tea and sympathy, and says Drew told her what happened and she wants to be there for Olivia and her family.

Brook Lynn says this is great, and thanks Carly, saying she’s an angel-Carly understands if Olivia doesn’t want her there and offers to leave. Just then, TJ emerges from the ICU and tells Olivia that they have some news about her husband-Olivia takes a deep breath as Brook Lynn and Carly look on.
