GH Spoilers: Olivia Desperate To Help Ned Remember, But Eddie Doesn’t Want To Go Back

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) is desperate to help Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) remember, but Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) doesn’t want to go back! Olivia takes a photo album full of both his lives as Eddie and Ned to show him at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) penthouse hoping to help him reconcile his two personalities.

General Hospital Spoilers – To No Avail?

“Neddie” doesn’t display the bad temper he did realizing he’s hurting the feelings of those who claim to be his wife and loved ones. He is able to explain now that he understands they care about him, or who they think he is, but he doesn’t know that man or his family. Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) explained a bizarre diagnosis, although more diagnosis is yet to be done-his Eddie persona covered over his Ned persona so Eddie’s all he remembers.

No one wanted to hear Kevin’s hypothesis that he’s trying to escape the Quartermaine dysfunction, so Ned’s hiding behind Eddie! But when Olivia shows him the photo album, all he remembers is Eddie’s black guitar, not even his leather pants!

GH Spoilers – Eddie Maine Barely Remembers Lois Cerullo

Olivia is shocked that Ned aka Eddie barely even remembers Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) his ex-manager, wife, and mother of Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton)! Olivia was close with the Cerullo family growing up in Bensonhurst, and while she and Lois knew each other, she’d never met Ned aka Eddie back then.

Olivia came to Port Charles when her son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) relocated, on an undercover op under an alias, Dominic Pirelli. She got reacquainted with his birth father, Sonny under strenuous circumstances but didn’t get to know Ned and fall in love with him until much later. It doesn’t look like Olivia’s plan is going to work-Ned doesn’t even remember much of his life with Lois, and she’d hoped to connect her to Brook Lynn at least.

General Hospital Spoilers – Olivia Quartermaine Is Disappointed And Grieved

Naturally, Olivia is disappointed and grieved, but at least Eddie wasn’t mean to her like he was in the ICU. Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) wants him readmitted although she thinks she can knock his memory back into him physically-Olivia won’t let that happen. They will just have to be patient while the neurological and psychiatric team come up with a plan, although she’s glad that Sonny’s keeping him in town.

It’s not like a diagnosis of dissociative identity disorder, Eddie Maine is not an alter, he was an alternate life. It’s going to be tough to figure out how to reintegrate someone who isn’t suffering from DID!
