Eddie can’t help it that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has left Liv high and dry. Lois only swooped in to check on her loved ones. She wasn’t trying to stir up trouble, but she may have inadvertently stirred up some memories for Eddie anyway.

Now, as he comes to grips with the events of his life with Lois that come flooding back to him, he won’t expect to be smacked upside the head with feelings for his ex, too. How is Lois going to handle Eddie crushing on her when his wife is her best friend? Who had him first?

It’s true. Eddie can’t help the way he feels — nor the way he doesn’t. Would he if he could? That might be the question Olivia needs answered when she learns Eddie has been falling for Lois ever since he laid eyes on her again.

He couldn’t place how he felt being next to her, but he knew he knew her. The memories have come so easily and vividly that he’s struggling to make sense of them. How could he remember her but not his family for the last 26 years?

Olivia can’t just kick Eddie out of her life. That’s her son’s father. She knew she may not ever get Ned back, but she never really entertained the idea that Eddie would move on with someone else while knowing he is actually her husband.

She certainly didn’t expect him to want to move on with her best friend — his ex-wife — but then, neither did he.

No one planned on this and no one wants to hurt Olivia, but she may not see it that way if her bestie isn’t willing to turn down Eddie’s advances.
