GH Spoilers: Nina’s Betrayal Leads To CarSon One Night Stand?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has a new bride, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

These two crazy kids eloped to Sonny’s Puerto Rico island and said their own vows in front of their children and grandchildren. What could go wrong?

Judging by the look on Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) stink face, everything may have already gone sideways.

Right after the ceremony he got a call from his informant who divulged the name of the person who tipped off the SEC about his mom Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) performing insider trading.

We didn’t hear the name spoken during that fantastic Friday cliffhanger, but Michael’s head swiveled and his jaw dropped to the floor as he stared daggers at Nina. This got CarSon fans doing backflips, and Nonny fans deflated.

Is it really over between the former amnesiac and his current wife? Does this mean that CarSon are about to find their way back to each other? Not so fast! The rumor mill has it that Michael was told that Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) is the canary who sang to the SEC.

That is correct in practice, but in theory he was doing Nina’s bidding. Martin is a lawyer and while he delivered the nasty news, he did so because Nina told him to.

As Michael tries to understand why Martin would turn on his mom and Drew, he could remember that Martin is Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) attorney.

GH Spoilers – Carly Spencer’s Comeback

He may then decide that Valentin’s tie to ELQ might be his motivation for turning against Carly and Drew. He is incorrect of course, but for the time being Nina appears to be safe from detection—for now!

Marrying Sonny may be the one thing that saves Nina from Carly’s wrath. Even if she admits her role in the SEC fiasco to protect Valentin, Carly will be dealing with Mrs. Sonny Corinthos. And she knows better than to go after Sonny’s wife. Or does she?

Maybe she “goes after” Sonny instead, leading to his betrayal of Nina in a tit for tat situation? Tell us GH fans, what do you think happens for Sonny, Nina, and Carly once the truth comes out?
